So 15 days post op. I'm doing good. I have yet to experience any pain- thank goodness!!! Drains came out at 6 days. I went back at 13 days and they drained fluid but couldn't get it all then when back at day 14 and they were able to drain a bit more. I have a follow up on day 20- said prob drain more. Be glad when swelling goes away. I wasn't prepared for that part of it. Pants don't fit like they did but I know it's temp. Was told to wear compression around clock to help with swelling. Also for anyone having this I was having a horrible time getting stood straight up again and when I went in at day 13 the nurse gave me the best trick ever! Toes touching wal and walk ur arms up to u feel a slight pull then hold and continue to ease ur way up and hold- I do this several times a day but I walked out of that office straight and it made a world of difference!!!! Hope it helps someone!!!! Some of my steristrips are starting to lift. Just looking forward to being back to normal:)

My surgeon required fluid removed. I can have place back in a couple of weeks. Insurance did not cover it. I paid 6150- for full tuck. Muscle repai mad lip0- he did give me a professional courtesy discount since I'm in the medical field. Yesterday I felt great. Today a little sore when walking. But I'm keeping my meds in around the clock. Drains should be coming out Wednesday . I have yet to take the binder off- I'm not ready to do that just yet. I would like to give it time to,heal. Before looking. I can't shower until Sunday:(

Just feels like I have just gone done doing an abs workout. Hoping it stay that was! Keeping pain meds in every. 4 hours. Can anyone make any suggestions for making the healing process easier or anything I might want to have on hand? I have 2 drains placed that will be removed I pin a week.

Full tummy tuck next month at the tune of $6560 -
Thankful for this post as well. I have been on the treadmill for months but down to my last 10 pounds I want to lose. Still on my treadmill but started to work out with a personal trainer to tone areas that are in need. My scales have gone up around 2 pounds and it freaks me out. I am scheduled for a Tt at the end of next month and was hoping to drop 8 pounds by then but am focusing in being in better shape. Makes me feel good to know others are having the same battle.

I have heard so many different stories on what to expect. I plan on going back to work 11 days after. I have a desk job and the surgeon seemed to think it would be fine but I also work out at least 5 times a week and he said that was gonna help me bounce back faster. My husband will be off with me the whole time I am so I will have plenty of help. I am very unsure as to what to expect from the looks. I just don't want to have unreal expectations. -

Mine does not. I have heard of some procedures being covered but you have to have major issues. Save up:) -

He did tell me I would have 2 drains in for a week. He did say I would have a scar right below the panty line. Just nervous as I don't want my expectations to not be realistic. -
