I had surgery the 9th too. I'm feeling so hungry also drained and tired. Today I ate a little Greek yogurt and it helped a little meaning maybe 4 spoonfuls in 6 hours. Im not sure it was a good idea but it did help me a little with the hunger. I'm not a caffeine drinking so no headaches.

So it will be 5 months the 25th and I lost 38lbs still not restricted. It was stressing me out until I started thinking I lost what a 4 yr old weighs. So now when I see a little kid walking around I'm amazed that I lost one of them lol.

Yeah' date=' that's what my doctor says! I bought the unflavored unjury and I just toss a scoop in just about anything I eat (soup, potatoes, tea, cream of wheat, crystal light etc.) so it's easy for me to get my Protein in that way! I was on shakes prior to surgery, so after the surgery I was tired if them and had to find another way. Plus, adding Protein to actual food is more filling that just a drink, which goes straight through your band. It keeps you fuller for longer![/quote']I never heard of Unjury can I ask where do u buy it?

U will do fine I had mine removed 10 yrs ago. Good luck and I hope u have a speedy recovery

I do u fill after your fill!!
I still have no restrictions I guess I'm one of the people that it's going to take a couple of fills before I feel restrictions. I'm happy I'm down 20lbs since 10/28. How do u feel?

My second fill is next Tuesday on the 4thMy doctor puts me in liquids for 24 hrs after the fill .....
Then one day of mushiness foods then back to normal ...
I have a friend that goes to Mexico for her fills and she's allowed to eat right after to make sure she's not to tight.... It all depends on the doctor I guess!
I think my doctor does the same as urs. Thank u

You guys have guided me, advised me, and encouraged me every step of the way. If I never lose the 2.6 lbs... Oh well. Lololol I'm extatic anyways!!!!!!

I have a question for you. You seem to be a veteran bandster...lol. My doctor told me after my surgery. That I should be able to drink a cup if Water. He said the band is just on. But' date=' I felt some restriction afterwards. Now! I can eat like I use to before surgery. Just not as much. I can't wait until my first fill. The second week of December.. What u think?[/quote']
Hi I had surgery on oct 25th and I'm able to eat too I go for my first fill on nov 29th can't wait. I'm happy to know I'm not alone. I'm also able to exercise but I really can't wait to have the restriction when eating.

I am getting banded tomorrow' date=' from what I have read you won't feel very restricted until after your first fill. But sticking to the liquid diet and following the postop diet instructions is probably best.Good Luck in your journey![/quote']
