I was banded the 12th also I am doing ok. Gas pain suck. But what hurts the most is every now and then it fills like my band is up in my chest and takes my breath away is that normal??

Well I am feeling pretty good except for the gas pain in my shoulder blades any tips for me??

I made the best spicy and cheesiest enchilada casserole and chocolate chip cookies. I probable drank a half a bottle of vodka (not the big bottle) and enjoyed Halloween candy since it was Halloween night...I could really go for some more of that enchilada casserole right now. Lol

Surgery tomorrow!!!

So it's two days til surgery and I am anxious and emotional. I have lost 9 pounds on preop diet happy about that and now my mind is playing with me. I am nervous about going to Mexico but its the only choice I have since I am self pay. I have soo many people in my family depending on me financially and I feel so selfish for spending the little I am on this surgery. I'm scared something may happen and I have the most beautiful 3 year old in the world t

Thanks everyone for the support. I am so glad I am not alone. I had a good cry last night and now I feel better!! I'm optimistic and ready to take control of my life!! Surgery tomorrow.

I am a RN and we use it in the hospital it really helps and one cloth should last a week I believe. It can be washed. I agree see your dr first in case there is an infection. Then use it.

Don't know why I am all tears today but I am so ready for this to be over and hate myself for allowing it to come to this. If I had half the self control I have had the last 2 weeks thru the pre op diet (not cheating not even once) why couldn't I have more self control before.

I am on my 8th day o my preop diet. I have been feeling great until yesterday I have a headache and my stomach hurts and I am so "spacey" surgery is Monday hope this gets better

I am on liquids only now was on regular preop diet I guess the plus size is I'm eight pounds down but my head is killing me

My surgery is the 12th and I have had m nets where I talk myself out of it but then I remember I am doing this to be healthy and be a better mother. My daughter is 3 and I want to be able to enjoy her and keep up with her.

Was wondering when some of u went back to work?? My surgery date is the 12th I am so excited but nervousness about when to return to work.

My doc told me 5 day of liquid diet but I am doing 12 because I hear most people my weight have to do longer and I don't want any complications. I get nauseated with protein shakes as well. I agree the colder the better I have tried so many and I find I like muscle milk banana the best 25g of protein in each shake.

I am a nurse on med-surg and work 12 -14 hour shifts. I really don't lift patients more worried about bending
