The scale isn't really talking to me do I took everyone's advice and took pics. The white sports bra pic was the night before surgery. The navy (pajamas....ok I know that's tacky but I wanted the pics NOW and didn't want to change LOL) pic is this morning!!!!!

I have absolutely done that! With bread. But I am just about over my bread addiction and I don't do it anymore! Consider it like a smoking patch. You get the nicotine without smoking but soon you will not need it!

I was told today that its time to go down a pant size (scrubs). Other people have made comments about my weight loss. I still feel like my body is the same. Anyone else ?!

Sure we can be buddies. I was allowed to eat mushies the next day. I've lost 8 since surgery. Total of 28 pounds down though since my initial consult to my 2 week post op visit. When do you get to eat.?

Wow. Congrats. I haven't had a full but bread and hamburger are not my band's friend. But I'm ok with that. I'm only 2.5 weeks weeks out so there may be a small bit of swelling still! Luckily my dr allowed us to have mushies the day after surgery! This is definitely a lifestyle change but I'm up to it! -

I didn't even have a liquid diet post op. First day was liquid. Next day was mushies. Then advance as tolerated. Each Dr is different. I agree wit h everyone else. Follow YOUR doc's orders! You will make it! -

Hey ladies. I am DEFINITELY hungry but I'm allowed to eat "mushies" and advance as tolerated. The most that I have eaten is tuna! Getting pretty tired of it. Thinking about a baked potato today!!! I slept in the bed last night and I've actually burped a few times today! I'm super excited! -

Oh I know EXACTLY what you feel. I'm post op day 6 and I am just now starting to get some relief. I cried so hard last night and begged God to please help me. And thank God I feel better and you will to! I wish this part was easier for us! Please take everyone's word. Time will help US!!! And soon we will reap the benefits of our hard work. Please know you're not alone. I'm right there with you. -

I had Percocet and though it made me crazy, it helped! Bless your heart. You are a trooper!!! -

I have the same problem (2 days post op) and my doc told me there won't be any burping for a while. I feel like a burp would make me feel SP MUCH BETTER -
Glad I'm not the only one. Having serious buyer's remorse. I'm 2 days post op. the Percocet makes me talk in my sleep and terribly sleepy. I'm nauseated and full as soon as I try something. Loosely put, I'm miserable.

Wow. I had trouble peeing too. Glad I'm not alone. I know I need to get up more put the Percocet and phenegran knock me out! To the veterans. How long did it take you to feel normal again ?. -
