You really shouldn't have carbonated drinks, but maybe a few sips of one could help with the burping need. Only a few tiny sips....no more than that or it will hurt like hell!!! ????????? -

I'm 10 months post op, down 93 lbs from 213 to 120 & have had 4 fills. After each fill, I had 2-3 days of tight restriction so I did liquids then soft/mushy for a few days then to normal food. There are many things I can no longer eat but the trade off is worth it!! -

My sister is 3 yrs post op & still can't. Me on the other hand, 10 month post op & never could, can now like a drunken sailor!!
