Everyone is different. It took me over 2 weeks to lose the water weight from the IVs. Relax and enjoy the journey. -
Gained. 273. I'm so frustrated.

I started at 315 and now weigh 268. Most of it was lost in the first 8 weeks. I've only lost 3 pounds since Nov. I'm feeling very discouraged.

I was sleeved in August and down 47 pounds, most of it lost in the first 6 weeks. Since Nov. I've only lost 3 pounds. -

I was told to have any dental work done before surgery. The health of your mouth can affect your healing.

I am also 4 months out and have lost 44 lbs. I can eat anything but not very much. My stomach gets full faster now than a month ago which seems strange to me. -

The care at St. Mary's is awesome. There is a couch in the room that your husband can sleep on. Sophie's house is across the road from the hospital where you can rent a room. My surgery was with the Divinci robot. No complications. I'm 9 weeks post op, I can eat anything without a problem, just not very much. -

I had my 6 week check up today. I've lost 3 #s in the last month for a total of 30#. -
In MI you don't need approval, if you meet the criteria Medicare will pay for the surgery. I don't know if that's true for other states.

When I started phase 2 of the diet, I gained 5# and bounced around at that weight for 18 days before I started losing again. It's frustrating but just keep eating right and it will start coming off again. -
No eggs on full liquids. Eggs are on the next phase of the diet.

Sleeved on 8/12/13. Including the pre op diet I lost 27# in August. When I added cottage cheese and cream soups, I gained a couple pounds and have stayed at that weight for 2 weeks, but my clothes are getting baggy.
