    Need Buddy

Thank you for letting us know. The sad thing is, I used to depend on a full feeling to let me know when to stop...ugh. I guess I know now that I may not be able to depend upon that. I will have to measure everything, because I do not want to risk more issues in the future with eating too much, especially with new gift with having this surgery. No many people get a second weight loss surgery.

I'm having the same trouble. I think it is due to the band. I don't have a full feeling at all, but I'm still on liquids. I wonder what it is going to be like when I go to soft foods.

I'd be interested as well. I had my lapband removed in April. I had the RNY on Dec 21st. I do no t know too many who have had the same issues.

    December 2017 Gastric Bypass!

The support of good nurses is so important. It soinds like you are doing well. It is normal with your new stomach to have the pain/nausea. The key is staying on top of it. My nurses were really good too. I've been home a week and I have no nausea and almost no pain. I just get cramping and bloated a little when I have my shakes (I had bypass surgery).

    December 2017 Gastric Bypass!

Hello everyone. I had my surgery on the 21st and I came home last night. I was actually afraid to come home. I have heard of so many people having issues with coming home and then having to go back in to the hospital. So far so good. I am able to get in all my fluids, consume liquids, and take my vitamins. I am so grateful! Sent from my SM-T818T using BariatricPal mobile app

    RNY in TWO DAYS!!!!

Gotcha...that is the way my Drs office does it too. Awesome way to be proactive. I had to call my Drs office to see if they had everything twice and I'm so glad I did. I did not want missing items not to be checked off the list. The first time I called, they said they needed the EKG, but they had it. The EKG was embedded within the many pages of the stress test and the second time I checked in with them they were missing my preop physical, so I called my primary Dr and the paperwork faxed to them. Sometimes it is good to be proactive and check on theses different offices. I believe they have so many patients and they do not have enough staff to keep up with all the paperwork. Sorry to hear about your gas pain. Hopefully it will subside soon for you.
