Had my education class yesterday and it was wonderful. One more appt next week and then I wait for a surgery date. I am surper excited!!!!

Thank you and how wonderful for you. I can't wait to feel that way again, its been years. I have my educational class tomorrow. I had a visit with my nut last week and she said no more snacks between meals or liquor (not a big drinker, but this time of year) and the soda is gone as well. The nice thing is that my insurance doesn't require anything of me except a Bmi of 40 or more. So this is going quick. I still have to wait for final approval. I will keep u posted. Thanks for talking with me. Love this site!!!

Thank you. I have been doing all my research and I am glad I did. My surgeon also conducted my seminar and it was very informative. I am hoping to finally get a surgery date after Thanksgiving. I have two more appts between now and then. Wish me luck!!! I am so very excited.

Hi I'm 43 and starting my new journey as well. I have two more appts and then I wait for final insurance approval. The funny things is, my insurance plan doesn't require anything, these appts are to satisfy the surgeon. Hoping to be banded the first part of January. I am also so very excited to have found this site!

I decided to wait until January. My son is getting married December 22nd. I didnt want to fight this and that LOL. That way I didn't have to worry any and enjoy the wedding. Halloween doesn't bother me too much. I am not much of a candy/sweets eater. I like salt, but it doesn't like me. LOL. They gave a list of things to get done for final approval then surgery.
