Now that is just wrong!!!!!

Everything lately!!! Things that I have had numerous times now will not go down! I was having egg beaters every morning....now they get stuck! One bite of mashed potato......40 minutes of barfing! salad everyday for lunch.....now it leads to me turning into the mad puker!!!! I hope today goes better!

I hate pot roast....makes me gag!

Today I asked my DH,"how has my snoring been"? He said it is non-existent!! Huge NSV for him!!! Anyone else's spouse sleeping better?

If you haven't decided that this is life changing and you are going to have to work at it....neither will work for you. With the bypass...the weight will come off fast, but if you do not change your habits, it will be back on in a few years (I just gave my fat clothes to my mother...she had bypass 6 years ago) With the band....you can fail by making lots of bad choices, junk food even in small amounts will stop you from losing. You really need to decide that this will save your life, and put your mind to it, to be successful. I chose the band because It is much less invasive and can be taken out if there is a problem. You will decide what is right for you but either way you will need to work at changing all of the bad habits that got you to this point. The band is only a tool but for me it was the better choice. Great Cindy!!! 12's getting to big.....I can only imagine!! It is funny that you say that about running. I went out for a walk today and decided to jog. What I would do is walk....then jog for a while, then walk again.It sounds like I need to check out the thread you talked about! Thanks for the info and yes....Keep the NSV's coming!!!

What is a couple of days!!! Do not undo everything you have accomplished by missing the date by a few days. Do not be so hard on yourself...... Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.........Look at the big picture, will it matter in 8 or 10 months from now when you are in the body you want to be in???? Will it take anything away from how great it looks or feels??? NO! You should not be the one to sabotage all of your hard work....that is what you have the evil sister for and your MIL from Hell!!!! :heh:

Hello All, I have had a couple of NSV's that I need to share: I no longer snore...my family would always give me a hard time about it. I would be afraid to go away on girls weekend because I thought that I would keep people up but its now gone!! My boss gave us all down jackets the other day with the company logo on it..... he gave me a mens medium (only mens sizes) and it fit perfectly....no awkwardness on his part or mine because of my size! I also fit into a size 14 jeans (stretch) but they are a 14!!! My 16's still fit but I am on my way to 14!!! One scale victory....I weigh less than my husband!!!! Thanks for listening....my family sometimes doesn't get the little things that excite me because they have never had weight issue. Please post some NSV.....I get excited when I yours too! (wow, that sounds like its all about me but its not meant too) Should we start a NSV thread for us amayzing bansdsters???

Trust me....you will not wear them again!!! It really is a great feeling already and I am not even half way to goal!!! Good Luck!

Happy Belated B day and great job on hitting the 50 lb mark!!!! I did last week and it is still surreal to me.....50 lbs gone for ever, you should be proud. I hope you celebrated!

I chose the band for all of the same reasons as everyone else and one more. My mother had RNY about 6 years ago....I just dropped off all my fat clothes to her. She is gaining it all back Now she has no more options, it does not teach you, you automatically lose weight but if you do not learn how to eat properly....it will come back. My heart goes out to her because she has struggled for so long. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

BJean-I disagree with you that the Republicans line their pockets....I think both parties do!!! I do not really fully agree with either party, just in my opinion the lesser of two evils. My political views do not define me. It is so not what I am about and it sounds like the same with you. I think this country is on a slippery slope and heading down hill fast. Yes....peanut butter and fluff! The Cape is great, so is Northern New England. I love all of the seasons! I think you are on to something with your plan....summers on the Cape and winters in Florida....WOW!
