Vicky, I am not sure if it is the same Dr. that used to do the surgery in Medford but I would not make this up. The care was horrible. He blew her off when she told him what was going on etc. He did not give her the time of day after surgery. She was rushed to Emerson and was very ill. I am not trying to bad mouth anyone and I am sure other people have had different experiences. I just answered the question as honest as possible and I would hope that If I asked the question, I would get someones honest opinion. I am glad that your experience was better and that you are healthy and happy.

I had my first fill last Thursday. I was on liquids until Sunday and since have had mushies/soft. I even had a couple of bites of hamburger last night without a problem. This morning I had a few bites of a hard boiled egg and started to slime..... it was very painful. It went away for about 2 minutes and then came back even worse. I ended up dry heaving and then vomiting. Then a few minutes later I started to slime again.....on an empty stomach!!! It went of for about 40 minutes!!! I heard gurgling for a while later too. :girl_hug: So I guess I have some restriction now!!!! It was not very pleasant. I am so afraid of it happening again so for dinner I had some mashed cauliflower. Maybe I will have a protein shake later. Just thought I would share. I now have more sympathy for all the people who have been through this before me, until it happens to you, its not so bad!!!!LOL

Hey Judy, Your weight loss is great!!! So sorry to hear of your pains.....I am with Wasa on this....I tend to try to ignore and hope they go away (not always successful). I hope that your aches go away so that you can really start to enjoy your new self. I have lost 40.....60 seems so far away!! You must look and feel so different. Good to hear from you bandmate! Thanks for your kind words....as always! You are right that I will use this time to lose as much as possible. I can only imagine how much I would have gained by now just thinking of him leaving. I would have been stuffing my face constantly! Your weight loss is great, I am sure you will reach your Thanksgiving goal!!!

I weight everyday.....at least 3 times in the am too! I am addicted to the scale. I actually want one that is digital for more accuracy! My oldest is leaving for college on Sunday (my birthday) and I am so sad...I have tears ready to go at all times. I wish I could turn back the clock, he would be a toddler, I would be thin and just start over LOL! I need a major do over!

Well tonight we were at the mall, I had to use the ladies room and we were in a hurry so........I was able to hover instead of using paper to sit on! I have not been able to hover and pee for years!!! Sorry for the image...LOL

My advice is do not start!!! Just kidding...I golfed about 6 weeks after but it wasn't that I was waiting, it was just when I had the opportunity and it was fine. Just practice before maybe at the driving range first to see if there is any discomfort. Good Luck!

Sue....I am not sure.....he said 10 cubic centimeters.....I am not good with metrics! When I had the surgery he said he gave me the smaller one. When I asked yesterday he said the larger was 11. You are probably right and I have lost something in the translation! Jrsico- TOM is evil! You will be in onderland soon and will not ever go back!! When I told my boss that I needed surgery, I asked that he keep it quiet because it was personal and I did not want to share it with my co workers, he said "legally I do not think I could tell anyone anyway" I will tell the other managers that you are taking some personal time. It is easier for me since I travel and I am not in the office everyday. He has noticed my weight loss and I am sure that he is wondering if I had WLS but let him wonder. I just told him that my doctor wanted me to lose weight for health reasons.....which is true!

Thanks....I watch my kids do their conditioning for school sports and I thought....I need more than a scale challenge!

Wow I am jealous of the people who have hit 50lbs but I am more jealous of the trip to Canal Street!!! I love that place. I would never spend the money on a real Coach either but I have a closet full of fakes! LOL I found out that have a 10cc band....when my doc told me I had the small one, I assumed 4cc???? I got 1cc in my band.....doesn't seem like much to me??? Off to drink my breakfast....

Back to the topic......I have had enough of Michael Vick and every other sports figure or actor who breaks the law and then gets off easy because of who they are......Just because you can throw a ball, you are not above the law!!!!
