I totally agree with everything Gail said. I am only 4 months out so she has much more experience than I do but one thing that she said I did not expect to happen.....you do lose interest in food, not completely but it is not the center of your world anymore. When I would diet before, I felt deprived but now I can go out to eat, have half of my meal and be quite happy. I never feel sad about not eating everything in sight and then some. You will go to the BBQ and sample things, just not go overboard and like I said not feel deprived (or stuffed) when its over. Good Luck......your daughter is worth it! That is why I got the band.

Sue....your first slime OMG . I am happy because I have not slimed in a few days!!!! I usually slime during dinner with the family because I am talking or trying to rush because I have to drive one of the kids somewhere!! Its awful. I have never pb'd but slime every few days.

I have read a lot about hair loss but my question is.....has anyone gotten their hair highlighted while it was falling out? I want to get mine cut and highlighted like I usually do but it is falling out so much right now that I am afraid to. Also any ideas how long before it stops falling out? Thanks, Maureen

My husband lives on PB&J....so do our kids. We take them to every sporting event because usually we have to go from one field to another and as we are driving I am making the sandwiches!!! One time my husband was on a business trip and he was flagged at the airport so they had to search all of his belongings and in the carry on was his gladware with 2 pb&j's for when he got to the hotel room. He said I looked pretty pathetic with my business suit and my sandwiches. the screener got a big laugh...at least they didn't confiscate them!!! The smuckers 1/2 the sugar jelly tastes good and the natural Peanut Butter without all the sugar works well also. Maureen

I used to get stressed over social situations and business meetings where I knew people were going to judge me. I know that I should not have felt that way but I did......very self conscience. Now I realize that I have been in these situations and have not given it a second thought. I lost a lot of those worries that filled my head all the time about my weight, I never realized how much energy I spent worrying and feeling bad about myself! I am not sure if anyone else will relate to this but it just feels so much better.....I am not done with the head issues yet but I am well on my way! Okay enough of the deep stuff..... I took out some colder weather clothes and most of them fit or are too big and by fit I mean they look the way they were supposed to, not stretched to the max. I do not fear the bleachers at my kids games, I would be out of breath by the time I got to the top before or if we have to sit on the ground I can get up without the rollover. I do not fear sitting in the little fold up chairs for sporting events anymore. I can wear jeans and clothes that fit the way they were meant to, not wear clothes that I can get on!! I have a waist! I have one chin (ok maybe 1-1/4). My wedding rings spin around and I do not fear having them cut off...again! The womens section is just a memory now! My shoes fit better! I get smiled at more, maybe because I smile more! There are tons more......until next time! Maureen

I can usually eat a half of a sandwich, no crust because its too dry! The thinner light bread is okay and a thin layer of peanut butter. Not the 2 pound sandwich I used to eat!!!

These celebrities are actually more out of touch with the average person than our political leaders (and candidates) are if that is possible. They need to "shut Up and Sing or Act or whatever it is you are paid too much to do!

I hate to admit it but I too am a survivor fan, but how stupid are these people......you know to wear something that you will be comfortable in for 39 days!! Do they just get the dumbest people they can find???? chicken should have stayed......

Kathy and Cindy.....the scale says I lost 2 lbs this week and I think it was 2 lbs of hair!!!!! When does it stop?? Does anyone know because I am getting a little worried!

Aren't you tired of amazing???? Its the new basically! I was dragged to one of those over priced skin care parties and all the person would say about every product was that it was amazing, my skin feels amazing, the results are amazing. How much they charge for the stuff, now that is amazing!!!

Ragdoll... that is hysterical, thanks for the laugh! I will let you know if/when I grow out of the 16s that I am in (it can't come soon enough) My 16 dress pants are getting loose but the jeans are still fitting and some I can't fit into in the store!! I saw a thread on here a long time ago about how much can you pack into a pair of pants because she lost 40 lbs and was wearing the same jeans......and I am right there, they are finally a little baggy but I can't imagine packing another 46 lbs into them. I must have looked like I was going to burst!!! I mailed some pants to someone else today and I would not mind doing the same.....as soon as I need a smaller size! Maureen

They are Apt 9 I think from Kohls and Villager I think from Kohls or JC Penny. The tan are like a stretch sort of and sit at the waist. The gray feel more like a wool blend maybe. I would love to send them to you, if you want to PM me your address. I just hate to see them go to waste and since we are all doing so well and not staying at a size too long, it stinks to spend good money and only wear them for a short time. Let me know, Maureen

You have every right to be pissed.....they are there to help make your special day even more special!!! They should at least respect your wishes!! Do not call yourself Bridezilla.....that is when you have a spoiled brat meltdown, this meltdown is justified!!! I am sure it will all work out in the end=)

I have 2 new, tags on, pair of pants that I would like to send to someone who could use them. They are more of dress pants. One is tan and the other is like a grey/black tweed. They are a size 18w and a size 20 (both about the same actually). I never got to wear them and now they do not fit! I will pay for the shipping and I would only hope that some day you would pay it forward....(like the movie, do something nice for someone else) Maybe we could start a sisterhood of the traveling pants!
