I could not get to sleep till 2/3am for few weeks, now I get up every blinking hour for a peeeee!!!

Hi I was banded Oct 1st not going to lie wind pain I got was neck shoulder, take windease, but best thing is a walk, I take rocky road 24gms protien Whey.... First few days thought what have I done, but I have dropped a stone, and going for my fist fill wed... Example of today, protien shake skimmed milk,breakfast, water/ tea. Two small meat balls, chicken only from inside mc Donalds peel off batter (bad choice I know,) tea time half cup pumpkin Soup with a low laughing cow triangle, and then for a snack small light cheese straw, not great choices but been at wk since 10pm yesterday till 5pm today,so out of house any idea's ? 5 weeks in......

60-70oz Water per day good luck

Stupid question guys I am 5 wk, on orders just to do gental walking till 6wks, started at 13stone 5ft reson for band health issues age 54. Band filled in surg 4mls. I Did not do pre op diet, I see all you wonderful banders moving loads of weight, like in their 20lbs, I have only lost 13lbs. Now this is were the stupid question comes in, please do not be offended, but is the high lost due to the high weight,? or am I just doing something wrong, one day one down the next after eating very little gain a pound, what's that all about.

I have a fit bit not sure how to use it yet, I can not do excersise yet another two wks soca orders x

Hi I am also going in to wk 5, and have been eating more lumpy foods, such as, prawns scollops, baked Beans, meat balls,fruit cuscus fish, tuna, three bean salad, nothing has happened yet, i have a 4 ml band, my first fill is on Nov 7th, Other than getting full longer, I also forget and only chew a few times befor I swallow, I don't feel banded, or may be I am heading for a fall, I have lost a stone thou!!

I two take two slow release capsules, I just kept on at GP, long story but chemist helped me and then GP did new priscription and I have then in a pill form that I can crush them now happy days

Why do I need a lap band if I still have to do all portion restrictions. Should it not help me feel full? I have had only 1 fill and find I can eat anything I want.

Re-Coke I read that it may cause your band to slip, would not take risk, my bubbie says open and leave in fridge till flat, not sure what that woul taste like!!

I was banded october 3 rd recovery was good. I have lost 35 pounds since i started my journey. I am on regular diet now and cant wait to get my first fill in november 6 th

I was banded on 1st Oct, with a 4ml fill from theatre, I have my fist fill 7th Nov, I was told today, my appt will be each mth, with Nuse, and depending on my food dairy,(more crunch foods) as to what I am eating,it may be 1ml fill or none at all, lost 14lbs to date, if they feel weight loss to much, No Fill

After 2 wks I pulled all plasters off used arnica also bio oil my scars are lolling good 26 days in ...

Hoya ladies I had my lap band 1st Oct the Hosp group may have improved slightly, on information pack, all info was their, but I did feel once money in their bank, their was no contact, I did think nursing staff were dreadful (however Dawn was very kind to me) I walked out in pain and in nightie, I was in pain , but any way that did pass each day, so much better at home got appt via phone with dietician this fri, and first fill 8th Nov, not lost a huge amount(11lbs) I too have BMI of 32, my port still sore and have pain on left hand side, would like a food dairy but will keep you posted, how you guys doing now??
