Good tech info, but so sad someone needs to be told this. Guess cyber bullying isn't restricted to facebook and adolescents. A pity.

I got 4cc on my first fill, I could eat a house still. I get another one this Thurs. I can't wait, I am hoping to feel that full feeling too.

This thread made me giggle. It reminded me of how parents always said don't swallow melon seeds or a watermelon will grow in my stomach. Imagine one trying to grow in my pouch?! : )

Crying over here! Is it time to remove this thing!?

Wish I could advise, but all I can do is wish you well. -
I think worrying if we are doing what's right is a side effect they don't tell you about. For example, I know this crazy worrier that has lost 100+ in under a year, and worries if she is doing things right!!!!! So try not to sweat it, even though you probably will, but I bet you are doing just what you should. Good luck!

A dear dear LBT friend lost 101 lbs as of today: Carolina Girl. She had been a supporter, advisor, and cheerleader to so many of us how about showing some appreciation. She has gone to sleep for the night, but how about she wakes up to 101 messages of congratulations. xoxo Banjo

Sammy would have sent out a shout out, but he didn't want Mr. CG to get jealous! -

Complications are rare. Many times, they are due to the patient not following doctors orders. I know people that have had slips, fixed. Docs add fill at a slow rate over time to find the best amount for you. At the office, you are required to sip Water, so they know it's not too tight. Now, if later, it feels too tight when you swallow solids, etc., you go back and some fill will be removed. What I am trying to say is any probs that might happen are outweighed by tge positives that will happen...a new, healthy you! I have not selfpaid, but lots of people on this site have. I would start with your general practitioner, get their advise on the best surgeon in your area. Good luck and welcome to LBT!

Great attitude and effort! Be proud. -
You will succeed because kids are the best motivator, and whether your kids are with you physically or in your heart, you will do this for them. I'm so sorry dandaman4.

Missy is sooo right. I have arthritis in both knees, Water classes are a godsend. Recumbent bikes work for me, uprights hurt. Double check with doc regarding any other med you could take. I was a month without motrin and just dying. I even get cortisone injections. Matter of factly mentioned knee pain to my doc, and she said I could take motrin, the nsaid rule wad mainly for bypass people. Maybe your doc may say the same. Worth a try, becsuse I really feel for you with knee pain. Good luck.

Snow removal is exercise right?

You bet it is! Been shoveling on and off since last night. We got a bit over two feet then less and more depending on drifts. -
You will do wonderfully! They will give you something to calm your nerves, just ask. Mine did. Today is the last day of your overweight life. Tomorrow is the beginning of your new, healthy, slimmer life. Sweet Dreams!

I'm a newbie and I have a few questions
Banjo257 replied to Tina Ramirez's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I don't have answers to your questions but I was banded around the same time and just wanted to wish you the best! My first fill was 4cc and I am not feeling restricted at all. It is a struggle not to eat more than a cup, because I definitely could. Good luck! -
Hope you listen to carolinagirl. She has a heart the size of both north and south carolina and she always has her fellow banders best interest at heart. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

I feel your pain. My first fill has done nothing and I still have almost 3 weeks to go to get a second one. Good luck to you
