Well it must be treating you well because you look great and healthy! Good for you!

Hi maramara75, I'm from Easton. The other side of the state. Keep believe I found two ma people in one night!
-
No, but hello to another massachusetts bander!! Never run into MA people on LBT that often.
-
Sorry you have to deal with this. But you are stronger than me. I didn't tell anyone except family because I didn't want to deal with those types of people. Good luck, and stay strong!
-
Leslie80, you had a rough start. I can't imagine being alone the first few days . Regrets, I think, are a knee jerk reaction in the beginning. But you are already losing and you will be a new and improved healthy mom for your kids.
-
The helpless, depend feeling is awful. But what it really means is you are an independent, hard worker, or this wouldn't feel so odd to you! So take afew more days to let yourself heal. You've earned it. It takes strength to let others help you when it is against your nature.

I hope you find your motivation. Congratulations on the 54lb weight loss. Can you switch up your exercise? -
Hooray! That must be a great victory.

feeling like a failure already
Banjo257 replied to Msluv83's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Please know you are not alone with these feelings. I gained two pounds and they have stayed for several days so I feel your frustration. I guess just because we have a band, it diesn't mean we aren't going to have hills and valleys. Good luck, please wish me the same. -
The low cals are normal and ok for the beginning. Not being hungry is a blessing. Enjoy it! Congratulations on your new journey!

Lap Band v. Realize
Banjo257 replied to Mellzbellz21's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the realize put on in dec 2012. After a recall I would expect it to be super safe now. -
Chocolate flavored protein shakes and choc flavored protein bars and sugar free hot chocolate help me
-
I was banded 12/17. Got my first fill 4cc and never felt full. I was losing slowly but steady. I got a second fill 2cc this past week. Still not feeling full. So I am one of those that will need a few to get to the right spit. But don't worry about a fill. Nothing to it. Just a stick and that all I felt. Doc had me drink a cup of Water to be sure not too tight then on my way
-
Very happy for you! Enjoy the ride.
-
Tara, wear a head band!
-
Never thought about it. Great idea! I would assume lab band patient is enough.
