Bath+bubbles+a book=mini vacation

I was banded 12/17 and got my 3rd fill this week and FINALLY feel restricted. Slow and steady is the safe way to go. Although it can get very frustrating when we want to see results. You will! Good luck.

I didn't know this thread still existed. I work next door to a Subway shop. All night I hear...."6 inch or 12inch". Kinda personal, dontcha think?!

Happy vacation, minus ten pounds or not!

I have gad them and my doc says normal for either eating too fast or a sign I am full. Not a worrisome problem, just a pain. : )

I feel like you do. Should have lost more by now. Most of my weight loss was presurgery too. Hoping for a fill next week. Had my first stuck today. But I am never full. I can eat much more than one cup.

You can do much more than you think you can! Good luck on good effort!

Friends don't just understand...
Banjo257 replied to Karen85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Find a way to get it through their heads. I had the sample situation my entire life but for a different reason. I don't drink, never have. I was never included in any parties that would include alcohol. Good luck -
Please know you are not alone. I just confessed to my friends that approx 3 months post op I ate 3 donuts today. I am very frustrated I don't feel any assistance from my "tool". Sorry you slipped, good luck to you.

How well do you tolerate soda after banding?
Banjo257 replied to PraisingHim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sorry, no more carbonation. And like many, that's what I dreaded the most. But actually easier than I expected. Crystal Light is your new best friend. -

You know tgat great feeling you get inside when you help someone out? I have a HUGE favor to ask that will only take a moment. Friends of mine rescued a dog, kandy. Their local shelter is having a picture contest. Winner gets gift certificates to a dogstore. Dogs are expensive, but they are neck and neck with a couple other dogs to win. It ends at midnight est. Tonight. Would my LBT pals click the link then click like and you would be helping kandy's parents take care of her. Thanks so much. And my karma cause you to lose lots of pounds this month!!! Tomorrow is my day for banding
Banjo257 replied to George the greek's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hooray for you! You will be so happy you made this decision. Best wishes for a speedy healing time. -
Way to go!

You can NEVER ask too many questions. Sounds like you have awesome kids. I joined LBT several months before I got banded. First I read post after post after post. Then I took a chance and asked my first question, which lead to a bond with a group of ladies, that I will cherish like no other. I was told to aim for bites the size of a pencil eraser. Realisticly, mine are more like the size of a hershey kiss. But chew chew chew and try not to be distracted while eating. That doesn't mean don't dine with others, but just focus on what is in your mouth when you take each bite. Socialize between bites. Good luck!
