You are definitely in my prayers. I have an anxiety disorder, and because of meds lowering my metabolism, I gained 50pounds in 15 yrs. Being fat has not helped my anxiety so I am about to begin this journey too. I don't have a surgery date but I.d love to be any help to you that I can. You sound strong and driven!! -
Thank you so much. I should no better than to read the horror stories. I decided a while ago I'd rather gastric surgery now than cardiac surgery in the future. Please keep working the site....and aren't you the one that the p#n#s police caught today????? : )

Sorry for butting in, but you 4 are everywhere on this site, so you must know your stuff. Would you tell me what you know about stomach and/or band erosion? I read a post today from someone who almost died and I am freakin out. She also mentioned you only get 4 to 5 problem free years with the band. My date is up in the air awaiting bcbs to certify the hospital(?). All my pre op is done. Then I read that post and ...yikes.

If you do contact your surgeon, please share the info. That would scare me and I'd like to know what it is before it happens. Hope you feel better soon. -

I wish you peace because it will help you heal. You don't need emotional knots in your stomach.

Thanks! My kids said since my nickname is jo, my username had to change to banjo. Being from boston, thought wicked cool was appropriate. Kids won! So tell me about day 10. Handling it ok?
