Well Doctor Chez, what's the prognosis?

All I know is reg coffee has a lot of acidity and my future surgeon FORBIDS it. Decaf she says still has some caffeine. But thst's just one docs opinion. I'd love an iced coffee right now!!!!!

Not for nothing, but maybe he is speaking from experience and he thinks its one of those aids that men get from infommercials....which he may already purchased!!!!!!!!!!! I joined awhile back as I prepared for my surgery scheduled for 10/30. But my insurance company, put gastric surgeries at my hospital on hold for accredidation to be decided. I love the idea of wanting the hospital to be top notch, but if they are ok to other companys, then why not them. I began my classes, nutritionist meetings, surgeon meetings, counselor meetings in August. Began and finished my pre op testing in September. So Oct 30, came and went, I continue to read posts and learn lots and "meet" the coolest people. But I just don't feel like I belong. I have no advise or experiences to share. The insurance company is suppose to decide by Friday, but I am in a funk and don't feel hopeful. So what have I done since the 30th, gain 5 lbs. I've learned about stucks, but I have a different kind of lump in my throat. : (

Sorry for your troubles. But you are worth A LOT. Just caring about your family shows that.

I have been here a few months and still don't have a surgery date. I have learned SO MUCH. Welcome.

Don't drive near a fastfood place. The smell will torture. Good luck ,believe in yourself. Keep posting here, yoy can't do that with greasy fingers!
