Check out the main forum topics. Select a thread that interests you and start there.Add to the ongoing conversation, and before you know it, friends found!. Pming is usually for when you've made a connection. Try starting with a group from around the time you were banded. For example, I met some really interesting people on the december bandwagon thread.

I have heard of and seen people that have had hair loss. Prevention is all we can do. Protein up, take biotin ,and Garnier has a shampoo with biotin in it.

Banjo257 replied to nessa2012's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hang in there. I was postponed from 10/30 to 12/17. You can do it. And no matter what you choose as your way, EVERY plan works as long as you follow it. : ) -
Hi I posted about hiccups yesterday also. The responses I received all related it to being a reaction to the pouch being full from drinking too fast. Good luck. I definitely will be mentioning it to my doc when I see her on the 3rd.

Someone told me hiccups may be band related, but what is the deal? I get them daily. I was only banded on the 17th so still on post op diet. Thanks for any 411.

Yummy!! Will have to remember this when I get to this stage. Happy New Year Cheryl!! Hope you had a nice Christmas -
how is this even possible
Banjo257 replied to banded121512's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was 7lbs heavier after surgery than I was the morning of surgery. It was all the air they put inside me and took several days to exit. Drink water or flavored water. It flushes salts and fills you up. It won't fill your pouch because it goes through. Hang in there!!! -
My doc said we could use carnation breakfast drinks. No protein gritty taste.
