    THE FAT UGLY TRUTH!!!

You are so strong and so brave. Your video would help so many people that feel they are alone. Every time I try to exercise, whether walking or going to a gym, I can feel the stares. Knowing I weight more than professional football players, ouch. The pain now is my fear that I won't be able to succeed with the band. Best of everything to you, you helped me, and I appreciate it. Very happy for you Barb!!! I was originally scheduled for your date, but insurance glitch postponed it to 12/17. I wondered what kind of weight loss peopke would be at if I had gone on the 30th.

Wow, Dad can't stand fat people

Not as important as a parent, but my godmother/aunt told me I would never have friends, no one hangs out with fat people. I wasnt fat when she first started her mantra, but I self fullfilled that prophecy.

    Weight limit for surgery

I have heard people have needed to lose a significant amount of weight before surgery. I understand it seems strange cause if we could do that on command we wouldnt need a band.
  19. Dont forget to give your abdomen a chance to heal. Congratulations!

  25. Follow up is HUGE but I have come to feel that the pre surgery education is crucial. I had to go to six classes. Meet with post op people also. The original group had about 35 people in it. When they lesrned what is involved, we dwindled down to five. Educate educate educate yourself.
