  1. Hi Guys, I was wondering if any of you had this problem - I am a month out now, and have lost 19 pounds but I feel like I need to eat constantly. I am trying to mostly eat healthy choices, like Tuna, chicken, vegetables etc etc, but I do have the odd chocolate maybe three times a week. Is this a huge problem? I feel like my entire focus is on food, and that I am constantly hungry. Anyone with some good advice for me? Thanks!

    Constant Grazing...is It A Problem?

Hi guys, Thanks for all the feedback here. I am not sure that I am grazing all day, I think eating every 2.5 hours feels like grazing - yesterday I was much stricter though, in sticking to the 2.5 hour rule, and I managed to drink much more Water, so I think it is definitely something to do with thirst. I also noticed on some other forums that the guys have been prescribed acid blockers, so I wrote to my doc and asked him to prescribe some for me. He said absolutely - so will be getting the prescription today. Will let you know how it goes. You guys are also so right about the chocolate - enough!!! No more!! Thanks for the tough love guys - who else would give me all this great advice!?! Mich

Post Op Day 4! Feeling A Ok!

Hi guys, I was sleeved on Thursday 25 th oct and my doc warned me about that pain when sipping. He said that this happens when the stomach acids and the drink meets. I definitely have it though! Pain not so bad now, just waiting to be off Clear liquids - doc says nothing but clears for five full days.

    Banding In November 2012...

Can you beleive this - my surgery date has moved up, and I am going in tomorrow!! On a liquid diet today, but only doing one day - doc says I only need to do the day before! So nervous and scared, but I know this will be the best thing for me yet. Will let you know how it all goes!
  5. Hi Guys, Anyone getting banded in November? I am going in on the 7 November, and starting to get everything together for my big day - anyone going in there, to share the journey with? Any advice, or ideas on how to make the first two weeks bearable would be great and welcomed! Wish me luck!

    Banding In November 2012...

That's great that we are all getting it done in the same week - we might have to be pen pals in the first couple of weeks, and let each other know how we are all doing. I am nervous and my dr hasn't given me any pre op diet, just only liquids the day before. The post op is stricter though. I am so excited, I really feel that this is going to be the drastic change I need, otherwise it will just grow and gro and grow. No thanks! Good luck to all of you
  7. Hi guys, Are there any South Africans on here? The advice is great on this forum and I am totally addicted to reading everyone's news, but getting food advice on South African food would be great! Anyone out there to help a new WLS trainee?
