What does eat around the band mean -
Went in yesterday. Told doctor I wanted to be agressive.he put in 2 more cc. Way too tight. Took out I . Then another 1/2. Still too tight. Took out another 1/2, so well see

My doctor told me to come in every week for a fill till I feel restriction. I have 11cc in a 14 band. I have gone 6 weeks in a row. I am beginning to question if this is right to do especially since he tells me I can go back to my regular diet in 2 hours. After reading the posts here I feel I'm doing damage to myself. I still don't have restriction. Does anyone else go so frequently? Is there a test I can request to make sure my band is ok?

Thank you all for responding. I have only lost 15 lbs from oct . No fills until 6 weeks after surgery . He usually puts in 1cc at a time. I am not satisfied for 4 or 6 hours or with one cup of food. I just want to be successful because my daughter just got banded. Can fills irritate your band?

I know it sounds aggressive and that doesn't bother me . I guess i wonder if it is the wrong approach? I'm supposed to go in Friday again

I expect the band to do the work not me! I expect this very expensive surgery would take my hunger away and give me portion control. I didn't think I would have to think so much and plan so much . Also I am uncomfortable when I do eat sometimes. It is early 4 months so I'm hoping this band will kick in. I am frustrated right now. Did not have a good day

I' just went for a fill today and I feel nothing . I felt more restriction last fill. I'm at 11 cc in a 14 band and yes I'm starting to panic. Any suggestions? Do I need to do 5 day pouch? -
I'm at 10cc in a 14 and still feel I need more. Does anyone else have this amount? I am thinking I need more because I do not stay satisfied long

Did you get the band with plication,? I think most people who have that don.t need fills. I wish I would have known about it but sadly I didn't find this site till post band

My doctor only puts the largest one 14cc. It is my understanding that you can go over limit because it stretches

Be careful eating in a car. I learned the hard way. Keep plastic bags paper towels and pineapple juice in case you have to pull over

I still don't feel like I am I'm the green zone and I had a fill yesterday. I have discomfort when I eat but it's not pain. Is it normal? -

Yes it is normal to feel the way you are feeling. It will take a few months for fills to kick in
