    Weight loss!!!!

    Congrats! You might have a stall though starting solids. My scale didnt budge last week and I just started solids. This week, I lost two pounds. Keep up the great work!
  2. I went shopping today for a new top and bought a large....so excited!! I am down 32 pounds...and counting. Hoping to be in Onderland by February 1st. Only nine pounds. I can do it....and all without a fill!! Sorry for all the exclamation marks but I am so excited to start 2013 as a new me!!

    I just wanna cry

    I was banded on November 6th an had the same thing last week. scale wouldn't budge. This week, I lost two pounds. Easier said than done, but stick it out. Eventually it will catch up. Thoughts are with you...I know you have the strength to do this!

    You can but two things I do. First, I count the calories into my daily allowance. Secondly, I watch how it effects me, because I am eating less. I used to be able to drink a lot more before feeling the effects. Now I have one glass and feel tipsy! Happy holidays!

    A Very Blessed December Challenge

    Down 1.5 to 208.8 lbs. Total of 32.5 lbs. I had my four week appt with my dr yesterday and I lost 7 lbs in one month so no full. Feeling great and excited for a new year with a new me! My attitude and confidence is better than it has been in years!! Merry Christmas to all!!

    I bought a few protein bars for back up. Have yet to have one but they are there if I need them. Don't want to make poor food choices because I am hungry.

    Morning Protein Shakes?

    If you are looking for a quick breakfast try eggs. I made mini muffin eggs this past weekend and have been eating them in the morning. I mixed egg whites, ricotta and a little cheese and baked them on 350 for about 15 minutes. I have two of them with a quarter of a sweet potato that I cooked over the weekend too. Holds me from 6am till about noon.

    "cupcake" dinners

    I made some over the weekend for dinners this week and froze a bunch. The chicken parm and taco cupcakes were great! I am so glad someone suggested emilybites.com. Love the portions!

    40 lbs. down so no fills yet. . .

    My doctor said that if I loose more than four pounds between my monthly appointments than he won't do a fill. I lost more than that and I don't see him until the end of next week. Not upset though, feeling great with my progress and don't want a fill unless I need one.

    Have you tried warm liquids like decaf tea? I was the same way and it passed after a few days. Stay strong!!

Date banded~ 11/6/12 Total weight loss since banding/pre op diet~ 26 as of 12/1 What is your favorite Winter/Christmas/Holiday Activity?~ My husband and I are taking our two young sons out to night to see the lights in the area. I posted this late but am checking in at 211.5 as of today. Half a pound to loose and I can say I have lost 30 pounds!!

  20. I have been using a lot of rotisserie chicken in my food processor. Add FF gravy, SF buffalo sauce, broc and cheese from the freezer section, spaghetti sauce, light mayo, really anything to keep it moist. Boca burgers in the microwave are also really mushy. Also try ricotta with sauce. I am on the third week of mushies and it does get a little easier. Just think outside the box!
  21. Try blending it with different things. I found some SF buffalo sauce so I blended some with that, a laughing cow blue cheese, and a little bit of FF ranch. I have also been blending it with refried Beans and salsa. What about turkey meatballs or veggie burgers? Greek yogurt is also a great source of Protein.

    Hi

    I just had my first pre-op appt with my doctor last week. I was banded on November 6th. He said that I will see him once a month and if I have lost more than four pounds since the last time I saw him, he won't do a fill. Think it all depends on your doctor though.
