OMG FLHgal!!! Ice Cream is STILL my downfall! I try to buy lce cream bars or pre measured cups so that the size is limited, but sometimes that doesn't even help.

I agree, the first 4 days I felt awful while my body was adjusting. It does get better and I was actually surprised at how much energy I had and how good I felt. Hang in there!!!

I was "banded" on July 30th and I have been losing since then, but not as quickly as I was before the surgery on the Medifast. I am still getting used to what foods I can eat and how much. I have had 3 fills and am finally in my Green Zone, but I know that I am not always making good food choices and that's why I am not losing as quickly. I was having trouble "balancing" my meals at the start because I couldn't eat raw vegetables, but now that I know I can tolerate salad, I think I will do better. It's true that the idea that you are eating so much less makes you think you should be losing faster, but your food choices really make or break your success. I know that is what I struggle with at least.

Hi destynee I have this one at home and it has served me well. http://www.amazon.com/MaxiMatic-EPB-1800-300-Watt-17-Piece-Personal/dp/B001ASAVPA/ref=pd_sim_sbs_k_6 I used it for my medifast while I was preparing for surgery and it blended and crushed ice great! I also used it to puree meat, vegetable, Soups, stews etc.

Hi pattyrg15. I had the same question when I went for my first fill. After 3 fills, I have reached my Green! I can eat about 3/4cup of food at a time and I am hungry about every four hours. Luckily I have not had any PB but I have had chest pain due to food getting stuck and overeating. It usually happens when I eat too fast or am not really paying attention to my chewing. It lasts only a few minutes and usually if I get up and walk around it helps. I find that meat of any kind... chicken, pork, haven't tried steak... unless it is ground., Bread, unless its toasted or really crusty, are a problem. Pizza and french fries don't really work either. (I know, not supposed to have them anyway, but I took a shot Don't get discouraged, you'll get the hang of it. Good luck.

I had a similar problem at my first fill appt. They added too much and then had to remove some. I felt a little restricted for a few days until the "swelling" went down, but then went to my next appt and had gained a little over a pound. They added more and I noticed a difference this time and at my appt this week, after 3 weeks, I had lost a little over 4 lbs. They added aliitle more and I definitely notice a difference. Last night I think I over ate because I had terrible "gas pains" in my chest and shoulder for about 15 min.
