I have the same concerns. More from a hydration issue. In April me and my brother biked across Louisiana. 350 miles in 4 days. I do cramp alot and drink plenty liquids. So now that I'm 2weeks post op I can't wait to get on my bike again. But I'm very nervous about food and water intake.

Sleeved on the 5th. Feel great no problem drinking, getting my liquids and protein in.never hungry (hope that stays). Been in the woods hunting with my 12 year old for the past 3 days. Life is good! -

I'm nine days post op. I have a bad case of gout. My surgeon allows me to take pain meds but no anti-inflamatory meds. How do you handle gout. I can't walk and want to exercise as much as possible.

I also had my surgery yesterday. I was nervous the day before. I was released at 1 pm stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home. Of all three operations I've had in the past, this was by far has been the easiest. I've not had any pain medicine. The other I needed the meds. You wii be fine. Good luck -

Dr treen did an awesome job. Starting weight was 278, day of surgery 249. I just wish he would let me have some Water or ice. Still no pain meds...

How are the November 5th people make out? I am blessed that I'm in very little pain. Looking forward to the losing!
