For all those post opers, I just want to know if you felt anything during the surgery! Or where you completely out?

Well end of pre-op diet day 1, tomorrow brings a whole set of new challenges. But I will get through them one day at a time. 8 sleeps till surgery. Good luck to all those having there op today.

Well starting my pre-op liquid diet today. All very exciting. I have my nutritional shake to take but not sure what else. Will be in contact with my dietician first thing this morning. This is gonna be hard I think. As I have a conference this week. But I know it has to be done.

Well It's official. I will be going in on the 11th for pre-op, and they will do my op in the morning of the 12th March. I am so flippen excited!!

Thanks everyone. I just cannot wait for tomorrow. To find out when my actual date will be. I am still over the moon, and trying to plan what to pack for my hospital stay.

Yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay!!! I have finally been approved by my insurance. They said the 14th March but my surgeon only does the surgery on Tuesdays. So I'm hoping now that I have Authorization I can get it changed to the 12th. But the 19th will be fine too. Been a long time coming.

Hey all after having a date in Feb. I now have two possible dates for March dependent on insurance approval. So it's either the 12th or the 19th. Really hoping for the 12th. I know it's a push, but it will be almost a month since my original date.

So it looks like I'll be leaving this Fabulous February thread. My Surgery has been pushed out to the 12th or 19th of March. ???? I am really bleak. Just cannot believe it.

Just found out that my paperwork is only getting submitted today to insurance. I'm really hoping that this doesn't change my surgery date again. If it does I'll be pretty upset. Just want to be on the losing side so bad.

Hi all, Well I met my new surgeon today, he seems pretty jacked up. Unfortunately I am not sure when my surgery will be at the moment. Paperwork will be submitted on Wednesday, after my Ultrasound. But really still hoping to have this done this month. For now things will just have to be pending. My surgeon knows I'm ready to go as soon as I'm approved.

There was issues between the hospital and the medical aid/insurance. So have to change hospitals and surgeons. Hopefully it will be the 19th now, but will have to wait and see. Meeting new Surgeon on the 11th then I will know more after that.

So frustrated. My surgeon has had to pass me off to another Surgeon. And I'm supposed to have my surgery next Friday. Now I need to meet with the new surgeon, and I have no idea if I am going to keep my surgery date or not. Unfortunately I am out of the country on business so will have to wait till Monday to see the new guy. Which is stressful. How am I supposed to start my per-op liquid diet this Wednesday when I don't even know when my surgery date will be. I cannot even explain my frustration it's that huge!

Best of luck to Edm for tomorrow. About the pics, I am definitely gonna do them. I wanna look back at them and remind myself where I am never gonna be again. My wife took them once for a diet I did awhile ago, so although it will be embarrassing and, yeah I don't wanna see them either just yet! It's gonna be amazing to see the transformation. I'll post decent pre-op pics to the forum. ????

Getting closer.

Still waiting for my authorization from medical aid, I am hoping it comes this week. Surgeon is just finalizing which hospital I will have it at before applying for my authorization. I start my 1 week pre-op on the 7th Feb. I have been on shakes for months so don't expect a problem with managing with shakes and pre-op diet. Although I assume it will be a little harder.
