    How in the world can you tell if you lost or not? Your weight can shift daily.

    Pickle cicles for real? Is that a frozen pickle or pickle juice?
  3. If I was to drink my calories for two days it would just make be hungry . My advice is to just get back on track. It is just one day and try to amp up your exercise to burn those calories. You will be fine.

    That is awesome Toddy!!!! Happiness for me is sticking to my half cup meal and leaving before dessert was served! Hopefull I can do same thing today

    Does anyone track food on spark people? I find it easier to track my smaller portions. Can you share days with friends like Mfp? Would love to hear some opinions. I also wanted to add I have stayed on track 4 weeks now and lost 17.8. I want to thank everyone who has provided support and postured in the forrum.

    Very glad you are ok! Something to be thankful for. I would not have been able to rush to the emergency room and would have called my doctor first too. Hopefully no more problems for all of us

    Careful those who are planning on doing a spoonful of this and that. Those spoonfuls add up fast. Don't forget the band is not going to stop you from over eating. Good luck you all.

    Needing A Bit Of Encouragement

    In my opinion also make sure you don't weigh yourself too often. I do once a week and dont own a scale because I would be getting on every day and it would drive me crazy.

    Can't Eat Meat

    Greek yogurt is a great protein option but I am hungry within an hour so I don't eat it. Tuna or canned chicken. You can make your own chicken salad with some light mayo. Fresh fish in a pan you can buy some marinated. There are a lot of options just have to be creative. If you can't eat any solid proteins could you be to filled?

    I can always eat more then what I am supposed to but I dont. Maybe you need to arrange your eating schedule to allow a meal or snack either before or after you work out.

I also can ask questions etc...glad that you don't need the extra help and I am sure there are also others that don't but you see how often people post questions about how to get back on track. Those people usually haven't seen a doctor in a long time"
  20. It seems to me most people who are not doing well know why. It is really a matter of getting up brushing yourself off and getting back on. I also agree that monthly meetings with my doctor are now a priority. The nurse who is amazing told me when I can't afford to come in she wants to at least chat with me on the phone. Please don't wait as long as I did. I could have been at my goal lat least 2 times over by now.
  21. I feel your pain. I had almost the same experience. I finally called the doctor and they wanted to check my band sinc it has been so long. i was suprised when they gave me a small fill. I got focused and back to the basics. I follow my doctor's rule measure, track and eat slow. I am proof that anyone can get back on track you just have to want it enough and start making the right changes. Go over your plan with your doctor or nurse to make sure you know the guidelines and then just take it one day at a time. I lost 14.2 the first three weeks back on track and cant wait to weigh in on Weds. I did also find that I had to let go of the guilt I was feeling in order to move ahead. Best of luck you can do it!

    Remind Me Again - Why No Liquids?

    Enjoyed watching. The video. It was cool seeing another dr advocating half cup meals however my doctor says 3/4 should be Protein. A lot of what he said was very interesting however a lot of what he said is not what my doctor approves. Everyone should always listen to their doctors first. Thanks for sharing I did learn some things
