  6. I was told by dr and nutritionist that the shots do not contain the right protein and do not absorb well in the body. I also had a bad reaction on my tongue. If you have the new whey the first ingredient is not even protein its water.

    Does anyone use Chike protein shakes

    If I drink a shake which is rarely, I mix with skim milk and sometimes flavor with sf ff instant pudding or PB2. I no longer use the puddings because they have 300 sodium per serving. That is Jello sf ff instant pudding mix.

    It's my understanding by the videos I have seen on here there isn't much to lose where the band is placed. Isn't it at the base of the esophagus? Also I'm just repeating what I was told. I don't claim to be a doctor.

    My nurse told me your band doesn't get looser. Just saying. Make sure you are drinking enough, I have noticed when I don't drink enough I am hungry. If its not meal time I Definately. Drink 16-20 ounces before I eat anything. Good luck.

    I cut everything up and measure in a half cup. The exceptions for me are if I eat something like soup that is very watery I will allow myself a little more and I take a guess if eat raw veggies but I always verify if I have questions with the nurse on my monthly appointment. Also I don't over eat. I stop when I feel satisfied. Usually that is half of breakfast. When I get hungry I drink 16 or more ounces of water before I eat again.. Most people I know measure every thing they eat or drink and track them on my fitness pal or I use spark people. People who track lose twice as much as people who don't. Also with tracking it helps keep track of what foods work for you better then others and how long you stay satisfied.

    Google dr oz and eggs. Also you can use egg whites or I think the egg beaters are good. You have many choices besides shakes for breakfast. If you don't need a shake you will be better eating solids. Most who do shakes in the morning are tight or in a hurry

    Half cup is 4 oz. i eat three of hose a day. Your band size doesn't matter.

    I so hear you, but its better then being full and miserable.
  18. The only thing I can think of is fruit peels and any meat that is really dry. I very rarely experience problems except when I eat to fast which is why I eat soup when I go out with my family and their crazy speed eating demons.

    Dont forget there is no rule that says you have to eat breakfast foods.

    I Love Hummus!

    I wish there was a good way to add more protein to hummus. Maybe an unflavored protein? Worried that would ruin the taste and texture. Anyone have any ideas?

    6 months out, starting to struggle...HELP!

    I eat 3half cup meals and only a snack if I need it. Everyone is on different amounts according to doctor and what they said about not eating to be full is very true. It is one of the reason most of us measure so we know when to stop.
