Awe sorry I have only heard about them have not trie them yet. I eat a lot of quinoa but it is more like rice. Definately helps keep me satisfied. I add it to most everything.

I have had no problems with chicken but I do make sure it is moist. Can't do dry foods. It is all in the way it's cooked. Someone gave me a dry pork chop and was horrible.

Try tofu noodles.

Beautiful kids! I heard some girls talking about compression pants.

My nose runs a lot since last fill/unfill. I am positive it is from my band.

I am wondering too what are you eating. How much are you measuring and tracking everything? Eating high protein? How many times a day? It is hard to give you suggestions without more information. I measure 3 half cup meals a day. Sometimes I have a snack or yesterday I for the first time had a treat. I don't count calories per my doctor but most people do.

Personaly I would call doctor. Maybe they can just take some of it out. It is not worth your health and well being. I had two unfills since my last fill and I am doing great! At least get your doctors opinion and dont just rely on the forum. Best of luck!

Mis I am so glad you are showing that link. I love it. It is what my doctors tell me to do. I also agree with everything you said. I however dont count calories I just measure everything and make good choices. Best of luck to you Cjohnson. Mis is right there are easy things available to eat or even to make at home and take to work. I make a lot of big pot meals and I am set with one container for each meal.

Congrats on your surgery! Everyone is different and their experiences are different. I have a feeling you might be having head hungery not really hungry. Unfortuately you have to tough if out and follow your doctor's orders. Try to keep your mind on other things. I chew gum a lot but some doctors dont like it so check with your doctor first. Best of luck and hang in there!

Huge difference!! Great job! Its normal what you are experiencing. A lot of people have the same issue. Try going to a store and trying on some clothes. You are doing awesome!!! -
Hang in there! It is normal to have some anxiety. You are going through a lot of changes. Maybe you can try walking some? Outside or around the house. It is good to walk and move. It will also help with any gas pains you might experience. Hang on! You have started a wonderful journey and have a ways to go. One day at a time! Best of luck!

Ask your doctor if you can take stool softners. If so go for the cheaper store brands. -
Who-hoo! 6 weeks out and the dr agrees with no fill too!

That is awesome!! Some people never need fills. You obviously do have the restriciton you are talking about or you would be satisfied for so long. Keep up the good work. Less fills less problems seems to me. -
I also get headaches if I have not drank enough water. Congrats on your weight loss you are doing great! I also agree if you are concerned call your doctor.

I agree with mirilax. It is what my doctors suggest. It will get better so hangin there. Make sure if you are really concerned about something call our doctor! Best of luck. -
Weird I haven't had any problems with junk food. A first for me. I also don't have any problems with chicken if not really dry. Sliders for me are things like shakes, yogurt and cottage cheese because the don't keep me satisfied and I am hungry an hour later. I will say some crackers seem to be sliders too.

Don't forget your protein shakes, jello sf and sf Popsicles!

Congrats on your journey! Only your doctor can answer your questions. Please do not start without his/her approval.

I agree with everyone else. You have chosen to change your life into a better one. Don't worry about other people. When they see you embracing the band and losing I bet they will change their tone and become more supportive. Either way this is your journey! Best of luck!
