    I used to track calories but per doctor I do not anymore. I can range between 600 and 900. I also only measure by volume and to be honest sometimes I dont even measure anymore I Just know when to stop. When I cook I measure out portions and usually add one oz of quinoa but I rarely finish it all.

    Yes for the most part I eat half cup meals. If I feel really hungry I drink a lot of water and if I am still hungry I eat a smart usually high protein sack. I also eat most of my meals solids because they keep me satisfied longer. Most people seem to eat more like a cup. Every doctor is different. Sometimes I do get hungry and I don't believe in depriving myself so I will eat. You may be fighting head hunger too and that is always a challenge for everyone. You can do it!

    Need help.

    I agree with Chez. I did same thing . Banded 4 years ago and for the most part did not follow the rules. Ingot back on track of October and I follow my drs rules. I measure and track and drink tons of water. I also do not eat fruit much. I eat 3 half cup meals. 3/4 protein so I have to make very wise choices. Occasionally I will have little fruit for a snack. I still have all the packaged fruit because when I do eat some it is usually fresh. I am proof you can get back on track. I have lost 41 since end of October and 89 since surgery.     I think you should do what your doctor tellls you track your food and then let him/her refer you to a nutritionist.

    I eat under 1000 and I have been steady losing.
  12. Last time I went to doctor in 7/11 I weighed 307. Today I weighed 241 and my blood pressure was good. Slow and steady

  14. 7/11 I weighed 370 now I way 241 slow but steady. Blood pressure down :)

    Do you have any type of game station? How about dvd? There are cardio, exercise and dancing dvds.

  18. It is also a decision you need to make with your doctor. No matter what we say it is up to him. Not everyone needs fills. I am also on self pay which went up to $200 from $100. i sure hope I do not need one anytime soon. Best of luck!

    If you have trouble eating eggs try whisking some skim milk in. Makes them soft and moist.

    In the old days i used to gain up to lbs and it would go back down. My advice it drink as much water as possible also hot water with lemon.

    I agree with Mis. I don't like a plan like ww for ME just because there are too many free options. I like the guidelines my doctor gave me but we are all different and everyone has to find their own path. Best of luck to everyone!
  24. My mom does not have the band but she has a spastic esophagus and gets that from time to time.

    Careful not to drink too much of your proteins. The band requires solid foods to stay satisfied.
