    I really miss diet soda!

    In my opinion carbonated drinks is one of the most important thing to quitin te beginning. Your doctor might let you have some later, but you need to heal first. Please do not start this journey putting your band at risk. It is the absolute wrong way to start.
  3. I think it is a great idea to but I have to admint it worries me that people will not call their doctors when they should. That is already an issue.

    Not sure what is going on

    I just want to add that the majority of us did not know when we started this journey what it meant to be satisfied verses full. The only way I have learned is by measuring my food so I know when to stop. It has taken me a very long time to recognize what it feels like. I also am constantly learning what foods satisfy me better then others and what foods trigger head hunger. For me these are mostly processed foods, high sugar or foods with sugar alcohol. It is a mental challenge as well as a physical one. There is no such thing as a miracle cure or an easy fix.

    How many calories do you eat in a day?

    I dont really count all the time. I mostly measure, but I probably get about 1000-1100 a day. You need calories to burn calories. You also need high protein meals.

    Not sure what is going on

    Please remember that everyone is different. I know people that haven't had fills and don't have to be as strict on chewing and are losing way faster then me and I know the opposites. Unfortunately we all have to figure out what is right.
  12. For me, the chewables seem to work better. I also agree with walking walking walking then walk some more.

    Hamburger?

    i just prefer ground turkey its healthier. dont think i would have a problem with hamburger just a choice i make.

    Just don't feel good

    it could be the change in what you eat. i felt terrible stopping sugar and caffein. The best thing you can do is to continue to drink water and work on increasing. Any major changes in nutrition can give you withdrawl symptoms.
  17. When I was too tight I had terrible hearburn and reflux. Trouble keeping anything down. If you are worried you should call your doctor. It is not good to grin and bare it.

    If you can puree I think you can eat about anything if the right consitency. Feel free to join my recipe group on facebook. You can friend me at hely lb. We have a lot of new banders on the site and I am sure they would love to share ideas. I never had a puree stage but I hear a lot of people like to puree wendys' chilli.

    Water Intake

    After I get all my water in my treat is a 20 oz low calorie gatrade. I put in freezer and make it slushy. It is my eve treat!!! Only 45 calories for entire bottle.
  22. If you are concerned at all you shoul feel comfortable calling the doctor. Even advice from here is not always right. Doctor always comes first on this journey.

    what kind of alcohol

    Well I just dont drink. Make sure if you drink that you cound the calories in your day. Alcohol is just empty calories. I never want to be hung over again.
