    chips??

    It really depends on what kind of chips you eat. The bean chips have fiber and Protein so a much better snack then your average grab and go kinds. I bought Special K chips and ate the whole box so I totally understand however I dont have that problem at all with the bean chips and they taste awesome.
  4. Congrats on your journey!! You might want to work on changing some of your habits now. It will make it much easier for you after the surgery. Things like chewing really well and putting your fork down between bites. No drinking with meals and none until 30-60 minutes after and no carbonation. That was a hard one for me. Keep us posted. We got your back!

    For me that would definitely be too tight. You should be able to eat more then just a few bites. You need to make sure to get all your food in. Your body needs calories to burn calories so it is important to eat. If you are getting in all your meals and required protein that is one thing. If you are not getting this in you may want to have a smidge taken out.

    Try using sf ff pudding mix or pb2 (a peanut butter substitute) or even sugar free syrups. Time to start being creative. It is good to be a little scared but dont let the fright take over. You will do great!!

    chips??

    http://beanitos.com/ I love these. They have Fiber and Protein. I eat the original and I am good with half a serving or less. I never start eating and crave more like most chips.
  9. It seems no place here sells sports bras so I have to get online. Does anyone have suggestions? I am worried about ordering one and it does not run try to size. Any suggestions welcome and thank you.
  10. I hate shakes with water. I use skim milk and I know people use almond milk. Maybe ask if you can use the almond milk its very low in calories.

    Need recipes

    Are you doing puree or mushy? Some people have both stages i did not. For mushies I like scrabled eggs whisked with skim milk, beans, refried beans, tuna, canned chicken any flaky fish, cottage cheese or ff ricotta cheese with marinara sauce.     To Weigh or Not to Weigh

    I usually weigh once a week, but what I have learned is everyone is different and you have to find what works for you. I know people who weigh one and even twice a week and some who only weigh once a month at their doctor's appointments.
  14. I can eat a lot more then I am supposed to but I don't. I measure everything I eat. Make sure you are eating high protein solids eat slow and chew well. Try tracking your foods and meeting with a nutritionist that works with you doctor. The band doesn't make you lose weight it helps you feel satisfied between meals. Calories in vs Calories burned is what makes us lose. Hang in there and stay strong!!

    Are you getting enough protein? Also look into taking biotin. You can even find shampoos that have biotin in them. Good luck.

    That is close to where my port is. You may want to do a day or so of liquids in case you have irritated anything. If you are very concerned call your doctor. Hope you feel better.

    First two to three bites

    Yeah I agree too do liquids for a day then mushies for a day and see how you feel.
  24. Do you take meds? I take a med that causes my white blood count to be a little high. They actually tracked it for a while a few years ago. On my most recent blood work came back a little high still.
  25. My theory is I most likely will have it. There is nothing I can do to prevent it so I try really hard not to worry about it.. You wont really know until you lose a lot of weight. Focus on weight loss.
