  1. I'm a personal trainer and a lap band patient. I got the band in 2010 and have lost 200lbs. I am looking for people i can support and work with. I did not have anyone who worked out with me, i had to learn on my own. I dont want that "alone" feeling stopping any one from working out. Im here!! Please reply if you need any support, or tips or schedule a free session. This is not about money, i have a career. Personal training is helping me continue my journey as i help you!

    New to the forum

Hi all, my name is Germaine. I got the lapband in 2010. I started out at 380 lbs. I got married a year later at 115. I did gain weight and got up to 250lbs. I decided to start from scratch, eat like i was supposed to, and now im at 190lbs, and a personal trainer in Southern California. My focus is to help other bariatric patients. Not just work out, but also support, encourage become a friend. I did it with no help, but wish i had some. I am looking forward to being a part of this forum. Please, if you need workout advice, or support in general, please ask away!!

    Feeling down

Keep it up!! It is a pain in the ass, most of us relied on food for comfort. This is a habit that will go away, keep to the program, once you see the changes in full effect you will realise that it.....not it....YOU work. Keep it up, this is temporary, eventually it becomes a lifestyle....your doing great!
