I'm with you, a lot of pain at the port site I press a pillow against the area when I move and that's helping but I still can't lay down. I've been sleeping in a recliner. Can't wait till I feel normal again! -

Prayers for all those getting banded. I had mine last Friday. It wasn't as bad as I'd expected. Some pain on my left side but manageable. You're going to do great! -

Hi all, I was successfully banded yesterday. Got to the hospital at 6am and was home by 1:30. Sharp pain on my left side near an incision but otherwise I'm doing great! -

Fallon, I agree with the others- the only thing I'd add is that their stories are not our stories. Their negativity, their mistakes don't have to be yours or anyone else's. your path is still unfolding so have hope and stay strong! The healthier you get for yourself, the healthier you can be even for them... -

Hey all, I'm in day 5 of my preop diet and tonight I'm starving. My dr. doesn't require a preop diet- just no eating the night before BUT reading your posts inspired me and I'm on a self motivated diet. Now im so hungry i want to give up. Help me get through the night!! -

These all sound so good thank you! I'm new to the whole protein shake thing. I got sample packets today- what constitutes a scoop? Would that be the entire sample packet? Any recommendations?
