  2. I try to keep up my protein as well as stay under 1200 calories a day. I also work out 5 days a week!! I am 9 months post op and only down 41 lbs. I expected far more.. I was roughly 250 at the beginning. I believe I am in the right zone as I can't eat much at a time (unless its' soup or something of that nature and then I can eat it all no problem). Ideas?? I'm discouraged. I'd really like another 20 lbs gone rather quickly.. and itn the long run=- I'd like 40!! atleast
  3. Great !! Thank you..I really appreciate the response and any help- and to know that I'm not alone. While I'm excited for others that have lost great amounts.. It's so frustrating to not be one of them. Especially when I know how much I eat and how much I workout! Funny you mentioned the WW cheese sticks.. I just had one. I've also switched to natural peanut butter as the sugars are less.. and I actually think it tastes better! I like the other suggestions you made also. I'm at 6.5 I think in a 14 cc band.. Have been for awhile.. I suppose I may need to up it.. but sometimes it seems like I can't eat much at all.. And I don't want to be that person that goes too tight and ends up ill all the time!! I want to do this all healthy and happy

    Missy - I would say no... so I may consider bumping up the appt.. & 2muchfun .. see thats the kind of thing I need to know.. whats normal.. whats not.. I want so badly to see results.. but I do want to do it the right way!

    So I'm 5 months post.. at 32lbs lost.. 20 of those occured during the 2 week pre diet and 2 week post diet.. and 10 dropped last month.. so for 3 months I lost 2 lbs.. and now these past 3 weeks again.. I've lost nothing.. I"m at 6cc on a large band.. I feel that I can't eat very much.. especially in the am.. I eat often.. rarely eat carbs.. and work out approx 5 times a week. Should I get another fill?? I feel that this process should be going a bit better for me... with the amount of effort I put it.. or is it normal to stay the same a bit and then drop?? I do NOT want to fill to the point that I'm ill or always hungry! But I'm ready to hit that 50lb mark at to keep going!! I really thought I'd be there by now
  6. Did I go thru surgery and self pay for nothing .. 2.5 months post .. And have not lost one pound since the liquid phase .. At 5.5 and my doctor opted not to do another fill ...
  7. A friend had 2.25cc and can't eat a thing .. I was at 4cc and fine (now at 5cc and fine).. to which I asked my DR.. whats the deal with that.. he said "Oh, she has a 10cc band no doubt" .. hmm.. ok.. what do I have?? "an AP band" .. Does anyone know the big differences and what I should expect more.. I'm really slow with loss.. and I mean.. stalled for like a month and I'm 6 weeks post op. At 5 cc now.. and before I get the same "count calories.. do you walk" (that's the same stuff people would always say before surgery too.. I always watched what I ate and exercised.. I'm not the person who ate snickers all day then got lap and am now eating healthy for the first time in my life)..

    Is Cheese Bad?

    I am definetly low carb.. I try to avoid carbs.. but that does not mean that I am doing zero.. I just try to stick generally to protein based foods,.. I just know that I'm lighter than I've been in years.. and now I feel fat ?? I don't know if it's in my head or what.. But I've been having the cheese for breakfast.. and then my mind took the crazy train and started telling me I was prob gaining bc of it \(haven't been on scale in a week since my fill\)
  12. I do want drastic!! haha.. I meant I have 4ccs .. not 4lbs this week.. I'd be happy with 4lbs a week for sure
  13. I am at 4 .. and I feel like "this isn't phasing me" .. I guess its good I haven't had any issues or anything.. But I feel it's slower than I'd like.> haven't stepped on the scale since my fill.. I will tomorrow at my one week mark.. I just have this feeling... nothing has moved..

  15. ok- I was shocked yesterday during my first fill to find out when he put the band in I had 3 ccs!? So after my first fill.. I'm now at 4cc! I'm down about 18 from pre op and am now 1 months post..

I haven't been on the scale since I started mushy- and now I can eat anything.. fill was to be today- its been delayed till tomorrow because something came up with my Dr ...I'm not even sure I'm still at a 20lb loss.. I would really like to feel my pants getting big big.. I know many hit 50lb losses around 3 to 5 months??
  17. I stopped weighing myself after I started mushies cz I felt I was too obsessed.. but I get my first fill Monday and want to know what to expect.. on all levels.. What to eat, how will I feel, is this where wieght starts to fall off again as it did in the liquid phase??etc etc

    October Bandsters?

    The first day I ate like a half cup of potatoes (i've figure out that was bad) - and some cottage cheese! I'm a few days in to mushy now and haven't stepped back on the scale yet.. my DR told me to stay off of it for a bit haha- but I wanna know so bad-
  19. I know it's 1.5 lbs and thats not tragic- but thats in a day.. I literally had some smashed potatoes- no more than a cup.. and a lil lowfat cottage cheese.. and this morning I'm up 1.5 lbs... I can not go back up.. Have others experienced this??

  21. my list just said any mashed vegetable.. I probably shouldn't have I guess.. I will avoid them from now on.. I drank lots of water yesterday and stuck to some low fat cheese and some really ground tuna.. was too afraid to get on scale this am I only wanna see it move down

    Any One Else Feel Dizzy?

    I did have dizziness.. but mine started to go away around where you're at.. I had several days where if I walked too much - or stood too quick- it happened.. I'd say normal

    Nauseated Day 3

    I had a rough 3 days.. and had the same.. even gagging & burping -was dizzy etc.. it was horrible.. but after the 3rd day - it seemed out of my system.. was very strange.. I believe that it was al the pain meds and etc.. if I walked to much I was dizzy.. but I'm 11 days post now- and feel perfectly fine

    Congrats on that!! That's the mark I'm waiting for- I will be clickn my high heels for sure
