Youll get use to srring the food around u. Today they ordered in sandwiches and i just drank my Protein Shake. :/ Tomorrow its someones birthday so they're ordering again and its a small office so its not like i can avoid it. Lol.. Its tough.. But u just gotta keep thinking that if u mess up your band in any way that would be detrimental to your success. So just gotta follow doctors orders :/

Iim reading a book on lap band and wanted to share this with u all. While it may or may nt be true i find t very interesting. Unfortunately When something doesn't work out well in medicine doctors Have a tendency to blame others. in this case they blame the band or they blame the patient.most failures however are due to the doctor. Interesting huh?

Im down about five pounds. But it fluctuates each day. Im so over the liquids. On Saturday i can have mushies.. Thank goodness! Today was probably my gassiest day.. But i guess thats good Today he band kinda hurts. My incisions hurt yesterday.. Still so weird to me that i did this! And now it sucks because im actually getting hungry and all i can have is liquids! Lol Glad u all are kicking along..

Damn i feel the exact same way and todays my 5th day too. Like today was the first day i was hungry but im so over the liquids! I just wanna bite into food! However.. My liquid diet ends friday. Then im on 2 weeks of mushies.. So thats better i guess? Best of luck to u!!

Im so sorry that happened! I woulda been devastated if they said i needed to push my dafe back. Youll get thru this and the 6th eill come sooner than u know it! Hang in there!!

They gave me morphine at the hospital. Make sure to regularly take pain meds even if ur not in pain right now. It may come later but hopefully not!!

Im feeling that same pain! Out of the blue ill get this pressure i assume where my band is. Then it feels like i hate to hiccup. But i dont want to bc thatll hurt and ill just be taking in more air. Then its like i can make it into a small burp. But its painful. And i get it all the time. I hope it goes away soon :/

My band is either 3ccs full or 3.5. Someone told m today it looks like ive lost weight! I cant believe that. Lol. Im back at work today for a full day and im not feeling it. I think my lack of sleeping isnt helping. Ive only been able to sleep an hour or two at a time. I do occasionally get this hard pressure in my chest and it feels like i need to hiccup. I try not to but then i let out a light burp. Does anyone know what that is? Its a bit painful- will that go away? Glad to hear your pain is manageable! Were almost 5 days out! Woot woot!

Not too bad. Every now and then i get a sharp pain but more annoying than anything. Not really having any crazy pain near my port.

Im only two days post op (almost three) and i just dont feel like eating. Im not really hungry at all. I ate a few sips of tomato Soup and a popsicle tonight. But its like i gotta force myself. Is this normal? Ive also been trying to make an effort to sip Water but im just not feeling it. I know i could not eat all day and feel fine..

Surgery was today and im laying in bed with heating pad, walking around my apartment every hour. This gas stuff hurts a bit but other than that i am ok. I do not feel like ill eat at all today. Is this normal? Im still laying here thinking... What did i get myself into? Lol :/

I think your body will just eventually get use o it and u wont feel the pain as bad anymore if not at all. Just make sure your drinks have protein tons of protein...

I was banded friday! Welcome to the forum! The shoulder pain is probably gas. Hopefully it will pass soon for u

Ive only been banded for two days. But with my pre op diet and everything. Ive lost 20lbs woot woot!

Took my first shower today. Are yall washing the incisions? Is there anything i should be using? I didn't scrub my belly at all just let the water run over.
