I'd be very careful. I was banded yesterday and am going to Disneyland in October. I asked my doctor about riding the rides and he said it should be fine since I'll be so far out from surgery. Seems like you'll only be about 6 weeks out...so if I were you, I'd probably skip the rougher rides. That being said, ask your doctor...they know best :-)

Tomorrow is my day!!! Surgery is at 9am. Oh wow!! Nervous, scared and excited all at the same time -
I had similar pain when I first started walking. I bought new walking shoes and the pain went away. I went to a local running store and had the gentleman there fit the proper shoes for my waling style, weight, etc. Now it feels like I am walking on air.

I started calling my insurance company two days after the paperwork was submitted. I wanted to make sure they had received all the paper work. I received my approval within 4 days. Best of luck to you! -

I think it's really common. I'm in the same boat as you...waiting to hear if I'm approved as well.
