You are doing something great for yourself. Don't let others judgement, or perceived judgement, get you down. Just focus on the healthy change you are making to your life!
-
And if possible, drop the discouragers from your life. Toxic relationships just aren't worth the hassel. Great post shrcuhm!

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and wedding!

Call your doctor. You might need an unfill. I don't think it's normal and it's definitely not good to be throwing up like that.
-
I think it might. Just speaking from a personal experience, my hair gets dry after dying and typically I have more breakage. I have less damage when i go to a professional. Do you take biotini? If not, I would suggest adding that to your Vitamins...it doesn't necessarily help with your hair falling out, but it does help with the quality of your hair. I've been taking it for about 2 weeks and i can already tell a difference.

My appointment was about an hour. Just like Floridays, the doctor went over how the band works and criteria for being a successful candidate. I also met with the insurance specialist and she told me exactly what my insurance would need prior to them submitting me for approval.

Congratulations and best wishes on your journey!

Sorry, but what is an IVC Filter?

I too am going with the Realize band based on my doctors preference.

Why are you afraid to call? It doesn't sound normal that you are constantly getting stuck. Call your dr.

I think just being organized may help you. As in, prepare everything you need for the day the night before. Get all your shakes and lunch items together and eat them between clients when and if you can. I know a cosmetologists schedule isn't the easiest, but I believe that you can find a way to make it work. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations and good luck on your journey!! -
Probably sounds lame, but drink more water? Or perhaps some chicken broth with unflavored protein added in?

Congratulations!

How Long Did It Take You?
CaGottaBand replied to Dobiegh's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Depends on your insurance. I went to the seminar in October 2012 and I will hopefully be banded in Spring/Summer 2013. My insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet before subimitting for approval. Good luck to you! Let us know how everything goes. -
I think a scale is invaluable. It will show you when you might be gaining and then you can correct yourself before things get out of hand.

42 pounds is huge! People are noticing....it's just harder for you to notice a change. Our brains play tricks on us and show us the fat person we used to be, instead of the skinny person we are becoming. Keep up the good work! You're doing awesome! -
Happy Birthday.

Congratulations!

Good luck! Got my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Congratulations!! -
Good topic. I am only at the beginning of my journey but I believe my Doctor and his staff will be there for me for whatever I need. I came to this site to find info on what it's really like to be banded and to make friends that will support me through my journey. Congratulations on your success Floridays! You are truely an inspiration.
