    I'm probably one of the only guys that I know that porn doesn't do much for. It may have something to do with the fact that I'm pre-med and anatomy is just anatomy. I have no idea. My testosterone is supposed to be at its highest right now. I guess that I shouldn't be complaining about it, though, because at least I don't need to worry about an unwanted pregnancy.     Learning to be this size...

    Eat three small meals a day and then bust your ass at the gym. More about the three small meals: Sub 35g carb per DAY Keep calories under 1000 or so. Protein, protein, protein. More about the gym: 20g Protein shake 30-45 minutes beforehand 20g protein shake as soon as you get home, hopefully within 30min or so. Oh, and bust your ass.

    feelin a little down..

    For one, Vietnamese and thai food rock my socks lately. In small portions, that is. haha. Second of all, I made a post about this TV commercial bit not too long ago and how it was the proverbial demise of my life. Those damn commercials are evil. Don't be so hard on yourself. Adjusting to the new lifestyle will take a while. EVERY SINGLE DAY IS ANOTHER BATTLE. I will tell you, though, and I've said this many times before, the people on here are absolutely amazing. They have absolutely saved me a few times. Post a thread and talk to them about what's going on in your head. I guarantee that you'll find someone who is in your same boat that you can talk to and relate with. Good luck and see you around! John

    I know you CAN eat it, but you have to realize that this band will not make you lose weight in and of itself. It is ONLY A TOOL. You have to take responsibility for what you eat because YOU are the one who is going to pay for it in the end. The ONLY reason why I'm telling you this is because I was in your same shoes, and because of it, I slowed down my weight loss a bit. One day, I woke up and said to myself, no more crap. It's time to buckle down. I hope you, too, get there. Good luck!

    Good for you!!!!! I'm just as guilty as anyone else, but I'm a HUGE advocate of always getting your Protein in however you have to. Oh, and try to keep the carbs at 30g/day max, if possible.

    I'm in the same boat as manatee. I'll add another little caveat, though. Ron White said it best when he said: You can't fix stupid. I won't date a girl I'm not attracted to. I also won't date a girl that I'm not compatible with. Personality weighs heavy with me when it comes to attraction, but if I'm not attracted, I'm not attracted.

    Kicking the addiction...

    Grocery shopping is the pits. I hate it. I avoid doing it at all costs. I'm such a poor college student that it's insane. I can barely afford to shop anyway. haha. Thank god for "mom's cafe" that's just up the road. :-P
  19. *mild rant* I just got a fill maybe a week and a half ago and it's a significant amount tighter than I'm used to. I hate this. I realized within the last couple of days that I was, or rather, am addicted to food. Being the invincible younger kid, I NEVER, EVER thought that I could acquire an addiction. Granted, my choice of addictions could have been worse, but the point still stands. I am addicted to food. Every time I turn on the damned TV, I see some stupid pizza or fast food commercial and it drives me up the freaking wall because I can't eat it. For those people who haven't gotten your band yet, it never goes away. The feeling of wanting to eat some ungodly amount of food never goes away. I'm so frustrated about this. I'm tired of being hungry every three hours and being EXTREMELY aware of it. This is taking the entirety of my strength to kick this, guys. Temptation is EVERYWHERE! Those money-hungry pizza bastards. It's a constant emotional battle with myself. Some days are better than others, but still. I've tried just about everything to distract myself. I really don't know what to do. I'm seriously breaking apart. I can't handle this. Make no mistake, I'm absolutely thrilled that I'm losing weight, but at what cost is vanity worth it over mental stability... I'm just so discouraged, here. :help:

    To say the very least, they are disgusting. Ewwww. The GNC Protein is pretty good. 1:1 Mix of Orange, strawberry, and Banana mixed with either Water or some sort of berry crystal light... Heaven. Amazing.

    I've never had that problem, but I'm a HUGE stickler to 20g protein shake 30-45min pre-workout and a 20g shake right after. I usually don't eat for a few hours after, though.

    Believe me, you get so much tail when you lose weight!!! IT'S AMAZING!!!!!!! IT'S LIKE THEY APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE!!! hahaha. Juuuuuuust kidding. Honestly, it's been the greatest struggle and the biggest reward I could have ever expected. Given the chance to do it over again, I would do it a million times over. Good luck!!!!!
