Surgery went well and was out the same day. I have been sore every sence the surgery but that is cool with me. I was at 335lbs going into the surgery and today i'm 330lbs not sure if that is water wait or not. I will keep ya'll up dated with my progess. Oh where can i find good recipies for the lapband.

Www.emeals.com they use major stores and every week they send you a meal plan with grocery list. There are several to choose from. Check them out let me know what u think I'm considering doing the low fat program.

Just an up date on my pre-op diet. I have lost 11.6 Lbs in two weeks time. Still know surgery date set. Dr. Says before January.

How early and at what rate did y'all loss weight after getting banded. I know everyone is different just wondering.

Thanks for your replies! Yes ma'am I'm going to be banded this month. Reason for asking is I lost 8.2 lbs on the sugar buster diet but I'm tracking everything. That is one week. Thanks again for your replies!

What was the cause of your weight not coming off? -
Yeah Dr. Does Recommended it for a minimum of two weeks. He told me to go on ahead and get on it because my surgery has not been scheduled and it could be anytime after 17 December.

I'm doing the sugar busters diet and I'm on my second day. I get very very sleepy has anyone else had this problem? I'm assuming it is because I'm busting the sugar out of my diet. It doesn't affect me to the point that I want To quit.

Today I started my pre-op diet. I'm starting at 345 and will be on it tell mind December. I have not got a date for surgery yet because my last weight control Dr. Appt. is December 17 2012. I hope to lose 25 lbs before surgery. Y'all have a good one oh chadcooley on myfitnesspal

My Dr told me I will probably be banded in December but ii have not been approved yet. -
I go to a seminar tomorrow morning here in Macon Ga. I have be fighting my weight for 36 years its time to end this fight I hope.

I'm so glad to see some people are in the same stage I'm in. I hope we can stAy in touch and report on the experience we have with the band. So far I'm working on the 3 month weight loss program my insurance requires. My next Dr. Appt is 13 November. It is looking like I will be banded in February.
