He did say to have veggies but only a bit and once a day. This is post surgery. I'm passes all the stages now on solids.
-
Doctor put in 5cc and tbh i dont feel much different. Was able to finish a plate of fish and some vegges and after that i wasnt really getting the "omg so full" feeling at all :S He said he wants me to follow high Protein. Well there was fish and a cracked egg on the plate lots of protein but didnt do much.

5cc = 5ml right?
-
I feel almost the same though i dont think i lost or put weight on. I still also seem to be able to eat large portions. Maybe i need more Protein or something...

Post Surgeory, Not Feeling Full?
mesmus replied to mesmus's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Uhhh so im not supposed to be following the diet until i get the fill ?? Clear fluids, mushy food etc etc ? -
Being overweight and all the biggest problem i have is my feet aching alot im sure you all know what i mean. Im wondering if there is a way to handle this? Sometimes the pain is overwhelming and i have to sit alot.
-
If you dont chew enough the food will get stuck on the band and will cause you alot of discomfort.
-
Its normal, it will take time some time to go away. Its an iritated diaphgram. In the mean time take some pain killers

Im on day 2 post op surgeory, everything is fine and dandy except im getting some really weird gas. It causes strange noises in my stomach and its hard to get rid of. Passing wind all day but doesnt help but i cant burp. It seems what ever i eat is turned into gas ( only on clear fluids btw) I havnt talked to the doctor about it yet as i assumed it was just a temporary side effect. Although not being able to find relief from this is very uncomfortable. I havnt been able to move my bowels yet i dont know why.

Everyone i heard of getting this done, from friends or people, drop so many kilos and also in a short time. I hope i can be the same when i get it done next week, but im curious what makes it so good besides everyone saying you simply eat less. Right now im on Optifast eating nothing which is similar i suppose. Is there any secret ??
-
Im going to get mine done soon and i was wondering what usually happens after the op ? The doc said something about sleeping at hospital overnight thats about it. Will i be able to walk at day 1 or very slowly or something?
-
Isnt this operation lightweight sort of thing? They dont cut you up or anything, just holes. Does it drain alot of energy??

Doesnt seem to be a way to get rid of hunger except trying to satisfy yourself with more water. Im on day 2 and feeling much better than yesterday. Its hard but for my life, i gotta do it
