Before you go to sleep
Heartsvalentine replied to Heartsvalentine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sorry guys yes repeat means bringing it up at night. Not being sick but coughing or burping it up. Gross. More just annoying stops me from sleeping. -
How long do you think you should eat before you go to sleep? Because sometimes I find my food will repeat on me when I go to bed. It's not an every night thing but its horrible and keeps me up at night. How long does everyone wait?

Port To The Left
Heartsvalentine replied to Heartsvalentine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
He didn't seem concerned and said everything else is where it should be. Just wanted to know if anyone's had anything similar -
My doctor said my port has moved a bit to the left? Has anyone else had that? I've been real sick the last few weeks and have irritated my port area. Should I just try to stick to liquids for a while?

i hope this isnt t.m.i buuut does anyone else's stomach pouch really bloat when consipated? ive found mines bloated and uncomfortable, ive booked in with my doctor just incase

I'm almost 5yr post op - recently my stomach area is uncomfortable. I'm paranoid my bands slipped. what are symptoms of slippage? Should my doctor be making me get upper body scans to check these sort of things?

You will be able to feel your port under your skin easily when you touch it- don't worry I think very one freaks out with that at first. The more you loose the easier it will be to feel. You get used to it really quickly. It uses to freak me out at first!

Does anyone get a weird kind of burn sensation around the port area after eating? I've had it for almost 5 years and only just finding it now. It's not painful just strange and noticeable. I don't know if I'm just paranoid of a slip haha!

I had my lap band surgery nearly 5 years ago- is it normal to perhaps need a fill now? I'm starting to eat more and gain weight (not heaps but enough for em to notice and see my goal weight disappear) Can it stretch a little over time? Anyone had simuliar issues?
