    Six months later..

You are doing a great job. Losing more than 100 pounds in less than a year is anyone's dream. Keep up the good work and get your butt working out. I have found already that you lose more working out so I have started to do it at least 3 times a week. This is my second week doing it. 3 times a week is totally do-able and not asking for much I don't think. Just have to make it a priority like eating, drinking and taking your vitamines. I have to say no sorry I am working out at that time but I can after. It's hard to get use to it but it has to be part of your new lifestyle now. Keep it up you look great

    Dehydration warning

I am always scared that something is going to happen to me because I don't drink enough. It is just so hard to do it but I am going to try harder. I probably only get like 1 to 2 16 oz bottle waters in a day. thats not good. I hope you feel better. That is so scary
  3. sounds like you are doing amazing and are so happy. I am very happy for you too. Keep up the good work and don't ever give up. You are worth it!

    HELP! HELP!

U need to talk to your surgeon. Have you?
  6. I will tell you what everyone else told me and still tells me. Give it time. The one thing you will learn going through this journey is that you will have days and weeks where you only lose 1 pound or 2 pounds or none at all. Your body is trying to get use to what you are doing to it and it doesnt understand. It takes a long time for it to catch up but it will come off if you are doing what you are suppose to be doing and exercising and drinking your water. Try and get through the tough times of not losing its hard but you will lose. The biggest thing is to find patients.. Good luck girl you can do this

  10. I was wondering how much weight everyone had lost at 4 months out from surgery. I was wondering if I was on track or if I should be doing better for how big I started out. My starting weight when I got home from surgery was 342 and I am now at 261 that is 81 pounds lost. Is this good? I am happy with it but I wanted to know if I should be doing better. Thanks family!
  11. You are right. Everyone losing differently. My doc said I am on the high end of weight loss but I didn't know if he was just being nice, LOL. I guess your doc won't really do that. He isn't here to be nice but to keep you on the right track and help you lose all your weight. Thanks girl you are right!
  12. I don't think you have stopped losing. I think you are at a stall. Those are not fun and can last up to months I have heard. Maybe try looking at what you are eating (getting in all your Protein before carbs) and doing more exercising or changing up your exercising. I was losing like 1 or 2 pounds for like a month or so so I started working out again and paying more attention to my protetin and I lost 5 this last week. Your body will get use to the same thing everyday so you have to change it up. You can do this girl it just takes time. Our bodies are still in shock. We still don't eat that much or as much as our bodies are use to us eating ya know. Keep your head up. You will start to lose again!
  13. Haven't done a post in awhile so I thougt I would update you all that care, LOL. I am officially 4 months out from surgery and down 81 pounds. I feel great and am so happy I did this surgery so far. There are many things I have to fight in order to stay on track and push myself to workout, just like before surgery, but I fight it all the time. I am learning more and more everyday how much this surgery is just a TOOL and not an answer. Yes it helps you lose more weight than you would on your own, but only if you are staying on track with eating right, getting in all your Protein and exercising. If you don't do what you are suppose to do you are NOT going to lose very good or fast. That would be my one piece of advice. RELIZE it's just a TOOL not an answer.
  14. Well when you put it that way it is great, LOL.. Thank you!!!! ;-D
  15. LOL you are great. I can't wait for them to really show. Its funny how that is one of the things that people notice when they start losing weight. We can't wait to see that, haha. I appreciate the congrats. That makes me feel really good. Just remember it is a tool. I was told that too but I didn't really know what it meant till I was going through it. Good luck and success to you during your journey. YOu can do it!
