I'm all for Dr Boutt and the staff in Port Huron... The tiniest question- they answered...... Anything I needed before / after surgery - they did it.... Support groups- they got em,......... experience- plenty, ...kindness, professionalism,... personality, ......- they have it ALL!!! Port Huron hospital... WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!:first: :clap2:

I am in the same boat!!!! I'm going into my 3rd week post op and I can eat just about anything (but I'm not) my stomache rumbles and growls at me all the time.. I'm drinking tea, and crytal lite during the day.. its like my body is telling me what time to drink, and what time to eat!!! Its weird.

I am 11 days post op and I had lite cream cheese on a few crackers.. I also had mashed potatoes w gravy. Is that going to do any harm to my band? I am walking 2 1/2 miles daily and drinking my water and everything else I m suppose to be going. I just couldnt stand the broth or jellos anymore.. :faint: I hope I'm not doing anything wrong . I've lost 10 lbs already since 3-21 (surgery date) bmi was 36.

Berry, I use vitamin e stick. It looks like makeup conceler but bout it works awesome.. I use it 2-3 times a day. I was banded 3-21-07 Good luck!!

Good luck Rocko!!!I was banded last week,, lost 10 lbs already... the main thing is to get up and walk afterwards. Just dont over do it.. As far as the woopecker goes, .. hes giving you a sign that you are ready, willing and able to chip away at the old you.. Koodles!!!! lol

I was banded 3 days ago... I am so hungry. what can I do to make the hunger pains go away? -
I was banded yesterday.. I'm feeling everything you mentioned.. I do feel like I have a pill stuck in my esophagus though.. any sugestions?

I am also in Michigan. I had my surgery done yesterday in Port Huron...My surgeon was Dr Boutt.. He came into my room this morning (730am) to check on me and woke me up... boy he can wake me up anyday!!!!! He is HOT!!!! Surgery went well.. No problems.. I actually walked a total of 1 mile between yesterday and today!!

Well tommorrows the BIG DAY!!!. nervous but also exited. My dad called to confirm travel plans being that hes the one taking me.. Port Huron.. Here I come!!!!:clap2:

I am too going to be a Port Huron Bandster. My surgery is tommorrow (3-21 at 9:00, am With Dr Boutt who yes is yummy. very easy person to tal k to as well.. Good luck to all the other March bandsters and I'll see you on the onter side .... I'm 5'9 and 250.. I hide my weight well but after tommorrow, I wont be ashamed at all
