Hi, I wish my swelling wld go down. Today is one week! I had my cycle on the day of surgery..that sucked. I havnt noticed any major changes in taste..yet. I dont think Im ready to go back to work..I have a physical job..when did you or are you going back?

Im much better than the first 4 days..on day 6..sounds like you need more water! Tmrrw will be one week but Im not ready to go back to work..still very swollen..when did you have surgery?

Carolina is right! The funny thing for me right now is Im not even worried about the scale..Im more worried about what I can eat! Spoken like a true addict!

I too was banded 10/23..i had some grumblings this morning so I just had a half cup of strained tomato bisque soup..it was good and satisfying

No worries, put the scale away for another week or two! Its just fluids it will go away! By the way you dont even look overweight from your profile pic!

What do you think I will ge able to eat at 10 weeks out..here are my choices.. Filet Mignon and Stuffed Shrimp chicken Francaise Broiled Salmon I wld normally order the filet and shrimp..and not a fan of salmon..what do you think?

When oh when will I burp! I have these awful chest hiccups..like it wants to be a burp :/ but no burp..probably to swollen to burp..anybody? Im 5 days post op.

Im swollen too...just hangn in there right now and praying all is good with my surgery..i had some doubts about what happened while I was in there...it took over an hour..i have 6 incisions..a day later found a bruise on my forehead and my right eye is completely blood red. The dr. never came to see me after and when I called with concerns the next day I was told to go to ER..i asked.for a different pain med and they wldnt give me one..but hey im alive!

Tammy I had a hard time breathing first two days..keep taking deep breaths..some drs give spirometers..i felt I shld have had one but didnt get one..i even called complaining about my lungs and I was told to.go to ER. I didnt go..just kept takn big breaths to open aerioles..it gets better..

Thanks! Soccer did you have any fills? I have a 10cc band and might have one fill by then I plan on taking the fills slow
