So I had a hard time yesterday...but I am soo much better now. I can drink but if I drink too big a sip it hurts and sits a bit..i was able to eat some yogurt and pureed soup. Im feeling my fill should be ok now..I forgot once and took a big sip and it was painful..! Im still worried my band isnt right after the vomiting episode..I need peace of mind!

My Doc Only Gives 1 Cc (Max) Fills Per Month. Same For Everybody?

I got a first fill of 4cc in my 10cc band ..i think its aggressive...i had some issues and pain..but next day and its better..knowing what I know now 2cc or 3cc for first fill would have been better. He always does 4cc and said I wld be fine..im adjusting but if you asked me yesterday I felt as if I wld never eat again! Im happy its adjusting and im feeling better. Ive opted to see how it goes and not run back for an unfill.. -
I just got.my first fill..4cc..and I can barely swallow spit!!...Im giving it til monday..if it doesnt improve im gettn some taken out..atleast 1cc..this is not a good feeling!

Boy do I feel it!! Feels like a rock stuck in my chest and I keep spitting out foamy saliva..will this pass???

Last night sleeping was rough..major discomfort trying to sleep on my side..woke up after afew hours with a dry cough..the foaming is gone..i was able todrink a glass of water slowly..i did feel it..and half of a small cup of premade jello cup..im happy the foaming spit seems gone..but still think im too tight..im gonna give it through today but im gonna call the dr. and tell them see what they say..

Mum do you have a 10cc band? I got first fill of 4cc today and I think its too much..i cldnt imagine 5cc! Im gonna try n see how it goes tmrrw..

I took a sip..seemed ok..told him i felt it after second sip..got to my car then it started gettn foamy n I was spittn it up..feels like a big gas bubble sittn in my throat..ugh..i hope I didnt mess up my band after that vomiting episode..he said unlikely..his words were it would take alot to make it slip..

Food Taste Different

Certain things im craving..like frozen pizza..no idea why..and tuna pasta salad..once I get a taste im good..my wt loss has stalled..cant wait for a fill to get me back on track. I was losing half lb to one lb a day before mushies..i wish I never ate mashed potatos..and made better mushy food choices. But food isnt as exciting as it used to be.. I get alot of head hunger.. -

Im going on wednesday for my first fill at 5 weeks. He told me my band is empty..i dont know if it was "primed" ive been sore ever since vomiting and am concerned I hope its all ok...i have a 10cc band

Hurt your band? I got a stomach bug and ended up vomitting hard...like heaving..dry heaving..it wasnt pretty...The only thing that helped me was half carbonated ginger ale..only a half glass. I was sore around my sternum for days..Im praying I didnt hurt the band or port or anything! Ugh.

I think a small amount once in awhile is fine. I dont see how that could hurt .. But thats just my opinion.. -
