Hi, I only know where I started and where im at in about 4 weeks..im down 18lbs....started from 5 day ketosis diet on which I started 9/14..been doin low cal..low fat since..go in on tuesday for the procedure! -
Is the band with plication basically the same as the sleeve? Why wouldnt one just get the sleeve done instead? Just curious? Cgrl any thoughts?

Rx for liquid meds..antibiotics, painkillers..etc. most come in a liquid form..

My surgeon use the Lap Band© 10cc. I was wondering what everyone else has/ is getting and if they know of any major differences?

I was given a low almost no fat diet of 1000 cal. a day..the idea is to shrink your liver..i also think its to get used to healthier low fat living..eating fatty meats n fried foods I dont think is good before surgery..but follow your doctors orders..i had a couple meetings with a dietician as part of pre op and was given a pre op plan and 6 Stages of post op drinking/eating plans

I dont know if I was tested for h pylori..but did find out im vitamin d deficient and iron ferrate deficient.. Today my boss wanted to know what was going on..and I told her it was personal..kinda feel bad by not telling her but I feel if one person knows..everyone knows...How did everyone else handle that? -

I have pre surgical testing today. I was so excited when I got the appt that I cant remember if I can have Water or Breakfast? Also, Im having my procedure on a Tuesday...how soon after will I be able to drive..i have a long drive scheduled for the following monday and not sure how im gonna do..3 hrs each way and a long day in between..im hoping not to have to cancel..any advice? Thx!
