    Im having trouble accepting what I got myself into.. I got banded last Thursday Jan 24. Im feeling a little depressed. I don't have much pain but I'm hungry and feel very weak.

    Right before I went in the surgery room one of the doctors read my labs. He notice my TSH levels where to high so I couldn't get banded. I was a total mess. I couldn't stop crying The main doctor was so upset at his staff for not reading my lab results a month ago when I did them. It was horrible!!! The doctor gave me $300 in GC for their mistake.

    The doctor told me my TSH level is 80%. It's high. Hopefully they go down so I could get my lap band.

I was a total mess couldn't stop crying. Doctor was so upset at his staff that they didn't read my labs a month ago when I did them. It was a horrible! Doctor gave $300 in GC for their mistake.

    I didn't do so well on my liquid diet. It was really hard for me. I lost only 11 pounds. I hope that is enough to get banded tomorrow.

    Thank you Vanessa! I'm not backing down. Made a few phone calls and friends and family Are going to help me if I need help with my baby girl. I'm getting excited now. My baby girl and my 2 year old grandson are the main reason I'm getting banded. I want to be healthy and strong for them. I ready to change my life!! Yay!

    My daughter said yes she's going to stay with me to help out with her little sister. Good thing I had twins 20 years ago. They are great babysitters I'm feeling a little better now.

    Thank you guys. I'm still very nervous. My doctor called me today and told me I won't be able to lift more then 10 pounds for 5 - 6 weeks! I thought it was for a few days only. This is a problem for me because I have an 18 pound 5 month baby girl almost thinking about not getting banded tomorrow. I'm going to ask my 20 year daughter if she can stay with me for 6 weeks if she can't I won't be able to my get band.

    Hello I'm new here. I went to my first seminar last week 10-3-12. Friday 10-5-12 got my INS verification. Today Monday 10-8-12 waiting on dietitian to call. I need to have weight monitor for 1 month. Friday 10-26-12 going to start my testing. Sleep pattern and stomach ultra sound. Oy! Feel like it's going to fast. Feeling nervous :/
