Think of it this way. All the weight you lose on the pre op diet is weight you will never see again.. it is weight you don't need to lose one you get you band. I ate everything in site before my band thinking I would never eat again. In return I gained 7 lbs an now after being banded I'm back to my pre op weight. I could be way ahead of the game -

Lyon I think you read my post wring. First I'm not the one complaining about my band. Second I was pointing out that there was other post just like this current one. Third my mother did raise me right and I don't appreciate the way you think you can talk to me like that -

Seems like everyone that I talked to had similiar experiences. My surgeon was super nice and the pre op nurse was awesome. Also the OR nurses we great too for what I can remember, so it wasnt all that bad. -

I had no idea I was going g to be rushed out less than an hour after i open my eyes. The nurse gave me 50 mg of Demerol because I had the shakes after surgery within 10 minutes I was walking to the area to get an X-ray I couldn't hold myself up I was so wobbly and in pain. No support from the staff. Sit me in chair and told me I need to go pee. I felt like they were trying to get rid of me ask they could go home -

I had my surgery Friday and I think I'm over doing myself too. JM not leaving the bed today unless for short walks and bathroom breaks -

I couldn't pee so instead of giving time they just straight cath me! So uncomfortable. Plus the left the bed down afterwards and I had to yell help to my husband BC no one was around. I was not impressed with my poat op care there at all -
I'm first day post op abs having trouble urinating. Sometimes I having to strain to make pee. Does straining this early hurt my band ? Any suggestions I would appreciate. I'm calling the someone tomorrow but it is also Saturday

Where you at the Houston Surgery Center Friday? I'm going to walk around Walmart today and see if that helps. I'm fine other than the gas pain. Have you tried gas ex yet? I'm wondering if it will work -

I'm in the same shape you are in. I'm going to go for a walk in Walmart today to see if I can push some of this air through. I've been reading and generally the majority of the post save the air stays with for 5 days. Good Luck sister if I find some thing that helps I will let you know and please do the same for me

Honk You should start reading some other post. People are getting tired of not getting support and being ridiculed for not using the band properly. I think people are finally having enough of not looking for support on a forum that was supposed to be build on support They and I have noticed it comes from the same group of people. They have been referred as the "old timers" -

Amen Shackwacky ! You took the words right out of my mouth. I don't even post any more about being hungry or when feel like a made a mistake because I know I will get ridiculed. I stick to certain people and a certain forum that I know that will have my back and are there for me. -

My fav is Isopure 0 carb cookies and cream, I mix it w/ water and a table spoon of flavored sugar free pudding or w/ soy vanilla milk. Its good. But what is the cheese sauce you are talking about ?
