What have I done to myself?
karina5533 replied to wozzicat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm sorry you are feeling down right now but hang in there. Trust me. It's going to get better!! My band was empty when I first got it so I'm not sure what you mean about getting fluid out after just 5 days. Can you get liquids down? What has your doctor said? I am 3 months post surgery and still getting used to changes with just about everything from what I can eat to what I can't and how much and when. This journey has not been easy at all so I can understand how you feel. Stay positive :-) -
This forum is so helpful. Thanks all! I have a question. Could someone tell me examples of slider foods?

Post Op November Bansters

I also got banded on nov 5th. My incision sites are quite painful and I have some pain in my left shoulder area. I don't think it is gas pain. Has anyone else had pain in left shoulder? My back feels tired from laying at 45 degrees as I can't seem to be able to lay down flat. I like to sleep on my side but I feel more pain in my abdomen/incision sites if I do. Is anyone experiencing this problem? I have not weighed myself so I don't know if I've lost any. My doctor wants me on clear liquids and protein shakes this week and start on mushy foods next week. He wants to do first fill on week 3. I read from others in this forum that it has been more than a month and they still have not had a fill. I wonder what is the rush? Should I be concerned? Any thoughts will be appreciated. To the newbie bandsters in this forum, good luck and share, share, share, please. Support is so important!!
