I am 6 months out, hungry a LOT. Was filled at time of surgery, and my Dr. has never done another. I've asked for it, saying i can put way too much in, not full, hungry all the time etc. Finally saw a Dr. today for 6 month appt. was told in a couple months if i still Think I may need one and am still losing and gaining and getting no where to call to make an apt. with my surgeon. Very disappointed.. They said too many fills make stomach erode faster or causes problems etc. but I hear about people having had a few my my stage. Confused..

Hi, I am 6 months out, lost most of what i've lost so far, only 30 some pounds, in about the first 3 months, the last three up and down, over and over about 3-7 pounds, i don't see why they would say they can not gain weight. Just saw my Dr today discouraged also, and yes you CAN gain weight

Is It Really Worth Not Cheating! 2 Year Band-Iversary
HappilyRandom commented on ♥LovetheNewMe♥'s blog entry in LovetheNewMe's Blog
Then what is the band for, if it is not a tool to help us feel full? i am going on my willpower and doing right, but wish it did what it was told it would do, or else why go through the surgery? i get what you are saying, I think, but there HAS to be a point to having the band? I'm sure it's not to just put it in our heads that it is there and supposedly working? there has to be more, no?? -
I'm only one month out and nothing ever comes up on me but I always have a heavy rumbling in the upper area never down below like gas is up top, but yet no burping. Sounds like if it's coming up yeah maybe too much or too fast?

HappilyRandom replied to ufscrapper's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should be having a post op visit soon? I had a hiatal hernia repairs, 3 weeks out still have alot of port incision pain but not shortness of breath, only for a few days when in the hospital and had to breath into that plastic tube thing and then coughed up junk, that is all..which was extremely painful But have you tried gas x? I started having gas up top only at first and some burping before the gas below which was maybe after a week post op. -

I haven't been keeping track, but guess I will go back to 2 Protein drinks per day instead of just one, been eating the bean Soups alot like they told me too for protein, but then heard its alot of carbs? I can now add pureed meats so bought a little processor yesterday and will try that and more vegetables also pureed.. I weighed again this morning and I am the same even to the ounce as 2-3 days ago when I last weighed. -
Port Feels Like It Is Pulling Downwards?!?
HappilyRandom replied to prettysmart1913's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I still have this and alot of pain at times, 3 weeks out...hope it goes away? Felt for a couple weeks like someone was inside pulling my guts inward as if trying to rip something away from my abdominal wall? I also had a hiatal hernia fixed at time of surgery but have been told its the port incision site? -

I am 3 weeks post op and I feel also like I don't have a band except for the port site incision pain which I STILL have . I don't know how much is in my band, but I was told my Dr. won't adjust fill for anyone until 3 months out. I still have to force myself to be on the restricted diet, though I do not feel "full" if that is what you are saying?
